• When was the last time you pushed yourself into the uncomfortable chair 🪑?? If you can’t remember then I’d say you’re due. See all those things in your dream board, they require you to grow 🌱New skills, new beliefs and a newer version of you to make them happen. If you already had what you needed you’d already have the goal. The only path leads to growth is exploring new things, new ways, new thinking. Putting yourself in new situations that force you to grow. But that ain’t always easy, and it’s definitely not comfortable. This week I’m pushing myself into the uncomfortable chair. It’s been a dream of mine to work with a local charity here in my hometown. @youmadeitcafe The YOU supports underprivileged teens to get back on their feet and live their best life. I’ve had a vision of hosting workshops for the Y.O.U. clients and sharing what I know about personal growth and the inner power we all have to create our best life. Teaching teens puts me way put of my comfort zone. I’ve never talked about this stuff with anyone in that age range minus my own teens which usually leads to some eye rolls. 🙄 Well... tomorrow I’m doing a two hour workshop for the Y.O.U. I’m excited. I’m nervous. I hope they like it. I hope they are inspired by it . I hope this is just the beginning of more that I can do to help these teens get what they want in life by seeing how truly powerful they really are. And it all started because I pushed myself to get uncomfortable by reaching out to the YOU organization and started the conversation. I was definitely nervous and sweating on that call. Tomorrow will change me. No matter how it turns out I will learn and I will grow. So my question again is how are you pushing yourself to get uncomfortable so you can grow into the person who’s living your dreams?   • You’re not ready to jump into a $10,000 coaching program. I get that. When I started my career transformation from Network Marketer leader to Online Coach I was new to investing in myself and it was scary AF to put even half that much into my first mentor. What if it isn’t the right person? What if the coaching doesn’t work? What if I spend the money and get nothing out of it. Those all went through my head as I’m certain they’ve gone through yours. But what if the act of investing in yourself simply teaches you that you’re worth spending money on and that when you do commit, it always works out. I have never regretted a single coach I’ve invested in, even the ones that I didn’t really love because each time I investing in myself, I learned something... I learned what I like and what I didn’t like about their coaching. I learned how to use that feedback to shape my own programs. I learned strategy, I learned how to use my mind and other great things that I now teach. But most importantly I learned to trust myself and that I’m supported by a power greater than I could even put into words. I learned to have faith that when I decided to commit to something, everything worked out and the money always showed up. That lesson has been worth every penny I’ve ever invested. You see, your desires never steer you wrong. Your desires are your compass. If you feel called to do something, no matter how scary it feels, there’s something in that for your - and it may not be what you expect, so be open to whatever comes up, trust you’re supported and take the leap!
