Hepburn and bubbles...always good ideas! Cheers to another week in this world gone crazy. At least we still have the classics 🖤✨🥂
Fun experimenting with tile finishes today! Looking for that perfect fit, sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands. I love working with tradesmen that buy into my crazy!
More progress... downstairs garage entry, a new elevator, stairwell, and laundry room off to the left. The original plan had a wall at the base of the stairs, we decided to push it back 18” and doing so opened the entire space up for storage under the stairs and a cute and functional entry bench. The light streaming in from the existing skylight is what you see here, but we are replacing that with a larger skylight to flood the stairwell and into the laundry with more natural light! Bye bye dark garage entry!!! I’m so excited to see this one come to life. A few may say why put so much into an entry off the garage that most wont see? Because, this will be the home owners every day entry and welcome home, that’s why. 😊🖤✨🌞🌞🌞
All the plants I bought this year are struggling. But my little volunteer green beans are producing like crazy! Sometimes new is over rated.
Spinning our way into the weekend! There has been so much to celebrate around here with my June baby’s birthdays. Today my boy turns 10! I feel like I’ve been in a constant spin since he arrived. He keeps us on our toes and laughing all the way. Happy Friday 🥳
The truth behind what it takes to get to every pretty finished photo you all love.... a whole lot of hard, ugly, messy work. Sleepless nights agonizing over the smallest details, solving every little puzzle piece until it fits perfectly, and making it look effortless along the way. Keeping the ball rolling isn’t always easy and pretty, but the end result (happy clients, and yes pretty pictures) is so worth it. 🖤✨
Sunday rituals... freshly washed sheets to start the week. It’s the little things that make me happy. 🖤✨
So, looks like we have a lot of the 1961 Parent Trap fans! Ok! So I’m not the only one who loves this house. And thought for those of you who have no idea why I love this house so much I’d share a bit about why. I love a rambling ranch house. This house mixes mid century modern ranch with old hacienda in such a dreamy way. It’s true indoor outdoor living with a center courtyard that connects all the rooms, and outdoor hallways connecting the bedrooms. The materials are pretty timeless too, even the kitchen I could see in a house today. And who doesn’t want a ranch with a reservoir doubling as a pool, please take a moment to appreciate the patio furniture too! Talking about furniture, how about that curved white sofa?! I could go on and on...Happy Saturday daydreaming 🖤✨
“Bourbon, on the rocks, double.” Happy Friday! One of my all time favorite movies, especially this time of year. This house is my number one favorite movie house ever! Who knows the name of the movie?
