💕Happy Valentines Day to all - especially all of my couples celebrating their first V Day as Mr & Mrs! ❣️ . In January local business owner Julie Moore reached out to me needing new headshots and branded imagery for her brand new salon Jules & Zoa. Doing my homework, I checked out the salon's website and BAM! I was hooked. I had to meet Julie and learn more. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In preparation for our session I stopped by the salon to check it out and meet the team. I was instantly transported into the salon of my dreams! The walls were clean and white, the furniture was mid-century modern inspired, and there were PLANTS EVERYWHERE! I felt immediately at home and had to resist the urge to start naming plants (such as this Pink Phalaenopsis Orchid). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The fun continued when I returned to Jules & Zoa for our session day, photo plan in hand. All of the salon staff were so kind, genuine and welcoming, which made my job all the more inspiring!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thank you to Julie and the Jules & Zoa team for such a wonderful morning creating branded stock imagery that'll help your brand POP off the page and capture your clients' attention!
Congratulations Laura & Sam! On Sunday we braved the cold (and wind!) in the name of love to capture these lovebirds during this exciting time in their lives. I'm thrilled to be capturing their wedding this May!
Why do table scapes matter at a wedding? They help your guests feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home. A well designed table scape can transform any reception space and transport your guests to a dining experience that feels simultaneously elegant and at home.
Winter weddings are the perfect opportunities to shower your crew with accessories to keep the smiles fresh and the celebration going. Amanda gifted each of her bridesmaids a monogrammed shall to help them stay warm during outdoor portraits. Not only were they a fun accessory to photograph, but they were a useful gift that'll keep on giving!
Ashley's bridal bouquet was the perfect mix of peaches, pinks & soft greens. And let's talk about her classic cascade design! I like to think the lilies were a slight tropical nod to Ashley's recent move with her husband to Florida. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ --> Did you incorporate any special meaning into your bridal bouquet?
I don't think I'll ever forget Kathleen & Matt's winter wonderland of a wedding last January. The couple had hoped for snow, and boy did Mother Nature deliver! Every last detail fell into place to make their day perfect and I think Kathleen's stunning gown was my favorite of them all!
