As part of the @Duracell Big Battery Hunt, the Year 3 and 4 Eco-Warriors have been busy counting the batteries that we are going to be recycling. So far we have collected over 1000!

Congratulations to Sara (Year 3), Aarav (Year 4), Ayla (Year 5) and Dev (Year 6) for representing Sudbury Primary School at the Wembley Spelling Bee just before Easter. They competed against 11 other schools and we are very proud of them all.

In preparation for World Earth Day on Monday 22nd April, our Head Boy and Head Girl team presented an incredible assembly to the whole school. They spoke about the many ways in which we can help the planet and reduce waste. This included recycling, not letting the tap run when brushing our teeth, and the fantastic work of our school's Eco-Warriors! What can you commit to do to help protect our planet? πβ»οΈπ»

Last night, Mikel (Yr 5) lined up as a player escort in the England v Belgium match at Wembley Stadium. Mikel met lots of the players and had a chance to walk out onto the Wembley pitch! Ms Grafstein was delighted to meet Mikel at the match and celebrate with him and his family. Well done Mikel!

Options Afternoon at SPS! The children had a great time completing their chosen activity. They had 31 activities to choose from, including Forest School, Ukulele, Easter Crafts, Football, Dodgeball and card games! A great time was had by all!

Year 3 loved visiting Wembley stadium learning zone on Wednesday- especially sitting in the press room and finding Messi's top hanging up in the changing rooms!
