We are incredibly proud of our amazing cricket teams following their outstanding performance at the West London Cricket Finals! ๐ช
After winning the Brent tournaments, both our boysโ and girlsโ teams went on to represent the school against the very best across West London - and they were phenomenal! ๐
๐ฅ Our girlsโ team reached the semi-finals, placing them among the top four schools in West London.
๐ฅ Our boysโ team went even further, winning the entire tournament โ making them the number one cricket team in West London! ๐
This is a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, teamwork and commitment shown by all our players.
A huge thank you to the P.E Team for their coaching and support, and well done to everyone involved - we couldnโt be prouder! ๐

๐จโ๏ธ Year 6 have been exploring the fascinating world of Inuit Art as part of their Frozen Kingdoms Geography unit! Inspired by the work of renowned Inuit artist Kenojuak Ashevak, pupils carefully studied the colours, shapes, and patterns within her artwork before experimenting with a printing technique using stencils.
Using these techniques, Year 6 created their own beautiful stencil prints inspired by Inuit art and Arctic animals, showcasing both their creativity and their understanding of the culture and traditions they have been learning about.

We were delighted to welcome Jo Marsh, flautist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, to visit us today on her tour celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the RPO. ๐ถ
Jo performed a wonderful selection of music for the children, introducing them to the magic of the flute and the joy of live performance. It was a truly inspiring experience and we are so grateful she shared her talent and passion with us.

Our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time at Claremont High School watching the studentsโ production of Moana Jr. ๐๐ญ
It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to experience a live performance and see the incredible talent involved in bringing a show to life - from acting and singing to set design, costumes and music. We all left feeling inspired by the creativity and teamwork on display!
We are already looking forward to seeing our own Year 6 pupils take to the stage for their production this summer. ๐

โจ Last week I was incredibly proud to receive a letter from Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education, recognising the exceptional outcomes achieved by disadvantaged pupils at Sudbury Primary School.
๐ Our results have been identified as among the very best nationally โ a powerful acknowledgement of what can be achieved when ambition, care and high expectations are matched with relentless commitment.
๐ง๐ฝ๐ฆ๐ผ This recognition belongs to our pupils and to an extraordinary staff team. It reflects thousands of thoughtful decisions: ๐ strong teaching, ๐ฏ carefully targeted interventions, ๐ค nurturing relationships, ๐ค teamwork, and an unwavering belief that background should never define potential. As the Secretary of State noted, this work demonstrates what is possible when ambition and commitment come together.
๐ We are proud of what we have achieved. Sustaining excellence, particularly for our most disadvantaged pupils, remains central to our mission. Our work is never done.
๐ We look forward to continuing to share effective practice, learning from others, and contributing beyond our own school โ because improving outcomes for children is a collective responsibility.
โจ Moments like this remind us that the work we do every day truly matters.
I am incredibly proud to lead this school and to work alongside such a dedicated and passionate staff team ๐ซ
