Class of 2021 bookings are starting to roll in, and I am getting SO EXCITED to serve the next group of #rgpseniors! Senior sessions are my JAM and I’ve missed shooting these sessions like I’ve missed the summer sun. I’m still offering $100 off senior packages through the end of the month, so inquire to snag this deal!
It’s funny how often my couples come to their engagement sessions saying, “We’re so awkward in front of the camera!” As your photographer, my job isn’t just to snap photos, it’s my job to make you look good too! I will coach you through exactly how to pose or what to do with your hands. By the end of our session, you’ll be taking romantic shots that looks like a scenes right out of The Notebook! ▫️ Associate wedding shot for @trishburtzel
I’m so excited to finally be sharing some shot from my session with @christina.b.johnson at @thehuttonhouse from a few weeks ago! Christina is a friend of mine from high school and an incredibly talented artist! Her work is being featured at The Hutton House for the next 6 months, so when she asked me if we could do a little branding shoot there, I jumped at the opportunity! Not only is The Hutton House a gorgeous, photogenic space, but Christina’s work is amazing. I love supporting other creatives in their businesses, especially those as kind as Christina! Her paintings that are featured in the space have already been FLYING off the walls, so if you like what you see, check out more of her work on Instagram!
We’ve had so much sunshine this week in Minneapolis, it’s teasing me into thinking spring is already on its way! I’m over here trying not to get too excited, because I know it’s just the calm before the snowstorm ❄️ Who has an escape plan?! Tell me where you’re vacationing this winter in the comments below! 👇🏼 ▫️ Associate engagement session for @trishburtzel
Guys, it’s finally FEBRUARY! January felt like an eternity, but it was good to me. Winter is always my resting month, and it has been MUCH needed. However, I do feel like I’ve maybe done too much resting and not enough getting stuff done! What did you accomplish in your first month of 2020?
One of the coolest things about being an entrepreneur is how much you learn about yourself. Daily, I get to ask myself questions like what kind of work am I passionate about? Is this reflective of me and my brand? What kind of life do I want to be living five years from now? While this kind of constant self-reflection can be tough, it’s also amazing how much I’ve grown to know myself over the past few years. This weekend I am attending a business workshop, and I’m so excited to continue learning about myself and discussing my goals and plans with other like-minded entrepreneurs! What are you doing this week to propel yourself forward?
In the photography off-season, I always make a few investments to up-level my business for the upcoming season. Usually it’s education or equipment, and this year I’ve also taken some time to update my detail styling kit. On wedding days, I love to take some time to capture the little things you’ve spent so much time planning. Having some other props in my arsenal helps your details come together to elevates the look of your final gallery. I can’t wait to capture details at this year’s weddings and show you alllll the pretty things!
Happy #seniorsunday for all you folks who need a little dose of sunshine! The winter months are always nice for photographers since it’s “slow season,” but man, am I excited for some warmth and sunshine and senior pics! ▫️ As a reminder, I’m still offering $100 off all senior packages for another month! Spots are booking up fast, so inquire soon to get on my books!
I am a HUGE planner. If I had it my way, I would know exactly where I would be three years from now. This has definitely helped me when it comes to wedding planning, but it’s also hard when my wedding is 18 months out. I want to figure it all out immediately because I’m just too excited! Anyone else have a hard time just kicking back and letting time run it’s course? Tell me I’m not the only crazy organizer! ▫️ Associate engagement session for @trishburtzel
