Last, but certainly not least, here's your #6 photo. One of our team members hugs an Outer Banks, North Carolina resident after Hurricane Dorian. This family greeted our team members with homemade desserts and water as a thank you for the hard work and long hours our employees spent restoring power. And there you have it! Six of our personal favorites. Happy holidays, and we can't wait to share more visual moments with you in the new year.
From our photographers' files #5! We may be biased, but we know our lineworkers are some of the best of the best. Every year, the International Lineman’s Rodeo brings together the best linemen from around the world to compete in events based on traditional linemen tasks and skills. Captured here are our lineworkers practicing for the intense competition. #team #teamwork #lineworker
Coming in with the #4 photo from our photographers' files- an aerial shot of our crews working to restore power after a heavy storm hit in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. #stormresponse #teamwork
#3! VCU Student, Asia Shell takes a selfie with our CEO Tom Farrell before the Student Diversity Conference started. #futureworkforce #selfie
Coming in hot with the #2 photo from our photographers' files! Our own Russell Holland, an Ultrarunner from Powatan, Virginia sure worked up a sweat with this one. Russell ran 86 miles, 1 mile for each first responder who lost their life on 9/11. “On 9/11 I will be taking a day of vacation to run in a fundraiser for First Responders,” read the first line of his PTO request. “I will be running 343 laps around the Powhatan High School track starting at 12:01AM.” AMAZING! #employeeshoutout #employeelove #shoutout #911 #honorthefallen
As promised! We are sharing six of our favorite photos from our photographers' files from now until New Year's Day. Here's the first one. Our team members are compassionate and caring about the communities we work and live in, and the people who make up those communities. There's no doubt about it. Pictured here is employee Cristina Freeman hugging a customer after we weatherized the customer's home. #employeeshoutout #employeelove #community #energizingourcommunities

One voice has the potential to have an impact on many. Just ask Flory Delabarrera, an AP Government student at Huguenot High School in Richmond, VA. Flory was inspired to bring history to life for her teacher and fellow students by coordinating a visit to see Hamilton, a musical about the life of the American Founding Father. Flory mailed a heartfelt letter to local businesses, influential leaders and others in the community, asking for help to send a few of her classmates to this rare opportunity. “We sent that letter to so many people,” she recalled. “The tickets were so expensive; we couldn’t afford them.” We decided to step in and help send a group of students, and the rest is history. #community #hamiltonthemusical #education #arts #history
#DYK a single adult oyster filters up to 50 gallons of water per day, helping to create clean, clear water all along the coast. In South Carolina especially, we love our oysters. They play a critical role in the state’s ecology, economy and culture. Employee volunteers recently participated in the SC Department of Natural Resources oyster recycling program which recycles oyster shells to help manage and rebuild oyster reefs along our coastline, ensuring sustainable resources for generation to come. Employees filled more than 1,300 five lb. bags of recycled oyster shells! #oysters #employeevolunteers #energizingourcommunities #southcarolina
It’s #GivingTuesday and our employees know a thing or two about giving back in their communities! Pictured here are some employees out of SC participating in their annual food drive for three local food banks. Employees donate non-perishable items and money during the month-long collection. This year we dropped off more than 3,000 pounds of food for our neighbors in need at @harvesthopefb. ❤️ #employeelove #giveback #energizingourcommunities

At Dominion Energy, where 1 in every 5 new hires is a veteran, we are humbled and proud to stand strong alongside those who stand for us all. We’re joining forces with the Central Carolina Habitat for Humanity by building new homes for families through the Cayce Neighborhood Revitalization project, which is working to transform communities into vibrant, safe places to live for current and future residents. . Today a group of Dominion Energy South Carolina employees joined candidate homeowner Melissa, her 17-year-old son and representatives from Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity for the First Nail Ceremony for Melissa’s new house. .
