    Happy Spring Rake!
  • SPRING RAKE INFO:

Spring Rake will be on Friday, April 2nd, and Saturday, April 3rd this year. For those of you who are not already aware, Spring Rake is a period of two days when Seasonal Campers can visit OVR to clean up their site and prepare for the 2021 season. As usual, there will be no charge for Spring Rake. Our gates will be open from 9 am until 4 pm. We will not be open Sunday for Spring Rake.

There is no overnight camping and no rain date for Spring Rake. We will be very busy getting the resort ready for opening day, so leaves cannot be placed on the road after April 3rd. Please be aware that campfires are prohibited during Spring Rake.

Leaves can be raked off your site and onto the paving of our roads. We suggest keeping your leaf piles away from trees, landscaping ties, site decorations, and outdoor lighting. We use a rake mounted on the rear of a tractor and the rake can damage landscaping ties and decorations when leaves are piled close to them.

Please try to avoid blocking your street so other vehicles can pass around the leaf piles. Also please avoid driving through or parking on leaf piles because dry leaves can be ignited by the vehicle’s exhaust system.

    November in OVR 🍂
  • At 4 pm yesterday, October 26th, the gates closed marking the end of a great 2020 season at OVR.
Thank you to everyone who made this season a memorable one despite the circumstances. 2020 has not been the easiest, but everyone did their part in keeping OVR safe and fun... between maintaining safe distances at our events/ lake/ pool, etc, to wearing face coverings in public areas, and also for having patience with OVR as the situation evolved. We sincerely appreciate your efforts, as this was a two-way job to provide a season that was as 'normal' as possible.
