  • I've been reading everywhere that "groups are the future" most of it was regarding Facebook after Mark Zuckerberg's last speach. And I'm still on the fence about that one particularely. But I do agree to the general expression that "groups are the future" and I would add: they were also the past, specially in the offline world. These images are from my latest "CLIENT EXPERIENCE REVOLUTION" workshop. I want to share the highlights of this experience with you because the most exciting part of it for me personally was seeing this bunch of bad ass female entrepreneurs getting together to figure out the way to better communicate and stay in touch with their clients in order to take their business to the next level and automate as much as possible to reduce the hustle in the process. I learned that each of them had their own sets of questions regarding client care but it was wonderful to see how we could all nurture each other, finding inspiration, guidance and support in one another. A huge shoutout to Amy Woidtke of Making Space for You for adding her rocking knowledge to the experience!   • The 3 R Rule to Rock a speech (as an atendee) If you've been following me, you already know we're full on prepping for #nahrep2019 these days. 😀 It's very important for us for many different reasons so I really want to make sure we live this experience at it's best. A huge part of the prepping for me is getting ready for the main speeches we'll be attending so that we can get the most out of them. 👌 Here are my thre Rs for Rocking these speeches: 1- READ: the speech keypoints and who the keynote speakers are 2- RESEARCH: as much as you can, familiarize yourself with the subjects and the speakers, their bio, their achievements, what you can learn from them, etc. 3 - REVIEW: all the info you came up with and prepare a list of unanswered questions (maybe some of these will be directly answered at the speech and you'll be paying extra attention and having the full context ready you'll be able to understand it in more depth, or, in some cases there are question rounds, if you get the chance to ask the speaker a question you'll be certain to be asking a very good one indeed 😉) What's your favorite way of prepping for an event like this? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #nahrep #latinaentrepreneur #leadershipskills

  • This powerful message from @LizHernandez (the amazing creator of @Wordaful) has me thinking about role models. 💭 Who mine are and have been and even more importantly (the way I see it) how big of a deal it is to BE a role model, and we all are to certain people at different points in our lives but sometimes it's just not that obvious at all. I mean, of course it's super obvious that we're the role models for our kids (and that alone is so challenging, isn't it? just hearing Liz makes you realize all over again what a great risponsability we have as parents😥). But we're at a different degree also role models for colleagues, collaborators, specially those of us who are (and love to be) mentors. We truly have the power to support others to become exactly who they want to become, and that's such an amazing (and a bit terrifying😀) thought. Thank you Liz!
