Niece breads and cuddles. 💕💕💕
Clay and I got married right before I really dove into being a wedding photographer. It's not uncommon to be asked now if I would have changed anything about our wedding after photographing so many beautiful weddings for my clients since that day. Today on my blog instead of talking about changes, I am talking about 3 things that I truly cherish about our wedding even after 6 years! In other words, these are things that I do not regret or would not have changed for the world. Click the link in my bio to see what those cherished things are! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #lifebylexphotography #lifebylex #lifebylextravels #indianapolisweddingphotographer #indianapolisfilmphotographer

This sweet baby girl and her momma are on the blog this week! So much cuddling and smiles that I could hardly stand it. I will schedule morning studio sessions all week long. Send me a DM if you want to schedule one before my 2019 calendar completely fills up! 💕 #lifebylexphotography #indianapolisfilmphotigrapher #indianapolislifestylephotographer #motherhood #motherhoodsimplified #motherhoodphotography
Earlier this week, I felt like we were walking into a simple, low-key week. 😏 And what do you know, every single time I say the words or even think them, life gets crazy. Isn't that how it works sometimes? You and your husband decide to put flooring down in your room then the light fixture you chose ends up being incredibly difficult to wire and ultimately ends up in the trash. You both work a lot and end up eating out wayyy more than you would like. And this is following the week you totally clogged up the kitchen drain to the point that a bunch of pipes had to be replaced completely. 😬 I could go on... I was writing in my journal and praying about this very thing just yesterday. I tend to be the type of person who is always waiting for things to go back to normal before taking something on and when you come to realize that life is never really normal, you find yourself a ways down the road with still so much to accomplish or work through. Sometimes you just have to face the reality of what is in the present and pray for God to change your heart. That is where I'm at today. How about you?
