• REVEAL!!! The holidays just got a whole lot merrier for this sweet family as they celebrate in their sparkling new kitchen with family and friends. The old kitchen just wasn't working for their needs and time had taken its toll on the semi-custom cabinets. When designing this kitchen with @thiessen_designco we wanted to create a better flow and beautiful focal point. We moved the fridge out of the main walkway, which not only opened it up, but allowed us to design this fabulous 44 hood! We also solved some storage solution issues by taking the cabinets to the ceiling (How about that 7 crown!), creating extra pantry space, a broom/supply closet, appliance garage, a beverage fridge and really large drawers for easy access and organization. The end result is a traditional white kitchen with dazzling modern touches. Our teams poured our hearts into all the details and maximized every inch for this growing family.   • When a client comes to you and asks you to do the cabinetry for their new lake home which happens to be her husbands childhood home and will undergo a major transformation, you celebrate that you get to be a part of it! 💃🙌 And then you get to work and make sure every last detail has been thought of because you want to make it perfect for the whole family who adores this house and will be making new memories in the spaces you design. When Jill came to us having waited years for her new kitchen, she had a pretty good idea of what she wanted. #1 on that list was an island where they could gather with family and friends. She also wanted a classic white kitchen with a stained island and hood to add some warmth to the room. The kitchen is on the smaller side but by removing the stair walls to the basement and a small half bath, it opened up the room and makes it feel so much larger. Jill not only got her island, but their sweet puppy Chloe has a new place for her food and water bowls as well. They now have loads of storage, ample walkways and a great working flow throughout the kitchen. I couldn’t believe my eyes when we showed up to take photo’s and saw everything they had done to breathe new life and love into their family home.
