1. I'm a sucker for a great veil shot, and these two absolutely NAILED it! 2. If I were to gauge the success of a wedding day based on how sore I am two days later, I'd say this was one for the books because I can still barely walk! 3. Choosing sneak peek photos is the most impossible thing in the world! (So see my stories for more!) 4. Saturday was beautiful and Dylann & Andy are such a blessing to me. I'm so grateful I got to share in their day and capture so many sweet moments for them! I love my couples! 💕
It's wedding day for these two beautiful humans and I'm pumped to be back at the gorgeous @the_venue_at_twin_oaks with @cadieleepphotography to capture it all! Dylann and Andy are THE sweetest people in the whole world and I am so, so grateful to celebrate with them today. Leave them some love!
Love is patient and kind... it does not boast, it keeps no record of wrongs... These words have really been on my heart lately. Especially the kindness part. Do I constantly have to remind myself to be kind? Yes. To be patient? Yes. To not keep score. Yes, absolutely. I’ve seen the power of those things in action, from both sides. One thing I know for certain is this: Love always prevails. Kindness is always the best choice, even though it’s not always the easiest. Patience allows the others to fall into place (though it may take years to learn how to practice it). And forgiveness is the ultimate form of freedom. Just something I’m thinking about this morning, as I prepare for a wedding tomorrow and saying “see you later” to my students next week. I hope your day is filled with these things, but especially love!
Music was my first love. (And always will be.) Sharing it with others is one of my greatest joys in life. Sharing it with my students has filled a space I didn’t know existed until I began teaching 5 years ago. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As my fifth year of being a teacher comes to a close, I’m being constantly reminded of how music connects us to others and for many of us, brings a deeper meaning to our lives. I know I sound extremely cheesy, and I’m still on cloud 9 from our final concert last night, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to share something I’m so passionate about with others. Just really full of all the best emotions today. What about you? What are you passionate about? What do you enjoy sharing with others? I can almost guarantee it’s what you were created to do, if it fills you with joy and brings joy to those around you.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the women in the world who selflessly share themselves with others, whether they hold the official title of “mother” or not 💜
