I saw a post on facebook that said I wish I was born into a rich family, because this going to work everyday thing is TRASH. Y'ALL. 😫😣 (my face after reading that) You DO NOT have to be born into a rich family in order to create passive income, wealth and freedom for yourself! (I was not born into a rich family and I retired at the age of 32! And guess what, you can do BETTER than I did.) Repeat after me: I am WORTHY OF WEALTH. I can create the type of life that I want. I can use what I have to get started. I WILL take action starting today. No step is too small. I am WORTHY OF WEALTH.
When you guys shared your goals with me the other day, most of you said you want to buy a multi unit in 2020. 🙌🏽👏🏽👊🏽. I hope you consider “House Hacking”. It’s one of my favorite strategies, especially for first time real estate investors. Here’s why: 1. You’re able to put down little to NOTHING for the down payment (if you use FHA and/or down payment assistance. 2. Your tenants are basically paying your mortgage so you are living there for FREE and stacking the money you used to spend on rent. 3. If you can’t find a multi unit in your area you can STILL “House Hack” if you buy a house with a walkout basement, guest house, or in-law suite. You can even rent our spare rooms in your house! The goal is to get tenants to cover your mortgage and pay that debt for you 👊🏽. Questions? Comment below.
When we went to view our first rental property for the 1st time, we loved it immediately. Despite the fact that it needed tons of work and wasn’t in a good neighborhood,we were sold. The numbers made sense and there was just something about it- we knew it was the one. As we were leaving and talking with our realtor about how much we wanted to offer, we saw this note taped to the back of the front door. We've saved this note as a reminder to keep doing what we love because happiness is wealth... And it’s crazy how things have come full circle. This rental property put us in a position to buy more rentals which allowed us to retire. Now we don’t have to exchange time for money. We can do what we love and the money follows 💕.
🤣 My mom at her Air Force retirement ceremony last year, literally jumping for joy. I come from a military family. My parents, my husband, my in-laws and most of my aunt and uncles, served in the armed forces so I have a special place in my heart for our Veterans!
