I’m not usually thankful when a photo session gets postponed, but I am today. After two open houses and shooting a wedding with a friend this weekend, this introvert is relishing a day spent at home by myself with my two Great Danes. And all my introvert friends said Amen! Also, happy birthday @c.wills.adventures!!
These two met each other when they were just five years old! They have one of the sweetest love stories EVER and they recently celebrated their ten year dating anniversary and very first anniversary as a married couple! Congratulations, Kristen & Shane! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you want to see more of their beautiful venue, @kindredoaks is hosting a cocktail hour open house TODAY starting at 7PM! Come on out to tour the Georgetown Texas venue!
One of the things I love about these two is that they made sure Dylan and I were available for their wedding date before officially signing with their venue! We photographed Laura’s best friends wedding (hi @alurabuckner) in 2016 and Laura told me she didn’t even look at any other photographers when she and Nick got engaged! There is no greater compliment than that and I’m still on cloud nine over it! The other thing I love about them is that Laura got teary-eyed when she was talking about how much they love their dog, Starla, who will be having her adoption birthday with Nick and Laura this weekend! I knew without a doubt that these two were my people and tonight I had the joy of photographing their engagement session! They made it look easy, but if you want to see the truth about how hot it was today, check out my stories.
It took almost two full work days, but I believe I’m officially caught up after being out of office for two weeks! Yay! If you were waiting to hear from me and haven’t, please send me another email. Also, this bouquet is on the blog today! The sweet couple who got married on the Saturday before we left on Wednesday had their full wedding gallery delivered on Tuesday - yep, they had their FULL wedding gallery back within three days of getting married! I wanted to make sure they had them just in case anything happened. That didn’t leave much time for blogging their beautiful day, but it’s now officially live! You can check it out by clicking the link in profile! One of the perks of shooting correctly in camera is that my couples get their wedding photos back freaky fast!
We’re back!!! A full week at the beach was the perfect way to kick off our Summer! We spent it at the gorgeous @atelierhoteles in Playa Mujeres! It was our first all-inclusive and we loved our time there! This photo we’re at the rooftop pool that overlooks the ocean, which was our favorite spot at the resort!
Sabbatical starts today!!! I’m taking some time off to enjoy Summer! I’ll start answering emails again on July 8th. Cheers friends!
