In an effort to keep our school a healthy place for all students, may we please remind you of the following guidelines. These few small steps can go a long way to help us minimize the unnecessary spread of germs. (From our Family Handbook) Guidelines for deciding if a child is too sick to attend school: • If your child has had a fever of 100 degrees or more, the child should stay home for 24 hours after the temperature returns to normal. • If your child has vomited or had diarrhea, the child should stay home until 24 hours after the last episode. • If your child has had any rash that may be disease-related or if you do not know the cause, check with your family physician before sending the child to school.
