Secondary school is expensive, especially for families living on less than a dollar a day. A full four-year scholarship costs $3,400. The new school session starts in January 2020. Do you see it, or am I just crazy?!!! 🤔😜🤣Bunny is being amazingly calm in spite of not going for her daily walk because of her heartworm treatment, and Louise is recovering v v well, starting to put weight on her surgery knee. We are just over one week post ❤️🐛injection/TPLO surgery and all including- Dan and I -are doing well!!! Happy weekend! Be well❤️

  • Sweet baby girl Louise❤️ in her soft cast (that comes off on Monday) and her shaved booty and arms. She looks very hip and cool 😎! At the vet they wrote on the wrap on her leg “Louise” with a ❤️ dotting the “i” in Louise! So sweet. When we were leaving with both girls last night one of the vets said “Your girls are so sweet and well behaved.” Music to this mama’s ears🥰 Both she and Bunny are doing great!! We are all figuring out this temporary new normal and how to maneuver and adjust. So happy to have the pack back together and feeling all nesting and nurturing.   • Bunny (check out those bunny 🐰 ears in the first photo😍) and sweet Louise (second) are at the vet today through tomorrow. Dan and I are feeling off balance with half of our pack not with us😢. Bunny had her heartworm injection and is resting and doing well. Louise just got out of surgery for her ACL tear and everything went well 🙏 However they did not operate on her knee I told you about last time. Why??? Because 2 days ago SHE TORE HER ACL IN HER OTHER KNEE😱. I kid you not. It’s rare, but it happens😩 Her orthopedic surgeon said the new tear hurt her the most between the two because she also tore her medial meniscus- poor baby😥 The surgeon says the average dog has a 18/19/20 degree angle in their knee, but Louise is at 27 degrees😵 which could account (though no one knows for sure) to the double tears as it puts more stress on the knee joints. The vet office told me to call as often as I want to check on them and I said just put me on speaker all day🤣 You should have seen their “luggage” I took in for them for one overnight stay😜. We have new large crates with new bedding upstairs and down and just bought a @help_em_up_harness Thank you all so much for your words of advice (so, so helpful) and encouragement (so kind)! I’m not so worried about crating and keeping Louise calm for months while she heals (next surgery will be in January if she is healing well; earlier if she is in pain on the remaining ACL year- reasoning being you want the leg to heal as long as you can before it becomes the support leg) but zoomie-loving pit bull mix Bunny🐰 ??? Ohmygosh I don’t know how we’re gonna keep that silly billy still, but we will🥴 cuz we have to. Thank you again for all your puppy love and prayers and for all your great advice😘. xxoj.
