The sweetest little gown went out the door today for the daughter of a bride! Don't you love the cute bow details of these puff sleeves? Something else to love about it is that this christening gown and its matching accessories were made using nothing but fabric remnants!!! But why is that important? One of biggest pollutants on Earth is the fashion industry. EÉ wants to be part of the solution by continuing the consciously produce. Even though we do our best to reduce fabric waste when cutting out wedding gowns, there are still going to be remnants. But here's the thing, we hold onto the bigger remnants to use for other things. In this case, the leftover fabric from making #EEEloise and #EEJoan was used to make this christening gown. As for the really REALLY small pieces that were left from cutting out the christening gown, those are going to get sent to a fabric recycling center eventually. For the time being, they're sitting in a bag on the studio floor. PS. Thinking of adding made-to-order christening gowns/accessories to our future online shop. 👍🏼 or 👎🏼?
