Have you ever been the underdog? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was the under dog for most of my career. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was young. I was one of a handful of women on a sales floor of hundreds of men. I worked in one of the most cut throat environments (NYC Commercial Real Estate) I was also a Puerto Rican girl whose family wasn't connected (I was adopted by my step dad at 18) I then become one of the youngest Marketing Directors of a national brand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I hustled. I worked my a** off. Leadership is the key to growth. It starts to become less about you and more about your brand's legacy. What are you actually leaving behind here? What community are you building? How are you leading your team? I'm all about building brands with longevity, not cash cow's that you'll sell or drop in a few years once you've made your money. But in order to create a brand with longevity, you're going to need to prioritize your leadership skills. Hate to break it to you but no one is perfect and everyone can perfect them -- even those on your team. Hire the mentors who can be a reflection of you and give you honest feedback on how to perfect those skills. Cultivate your teams -- in order to run high performing teams you need to lead like one. A higher version of you requires a higher energetic level of you. I was always an empath but never quite understood the laws of energy and how it works in your business. I knew what I felt. l have a strong level of discernment, I know intuitively when people have negative intentions and/or have a motive that's not pure. (call it woo woo, whatever you want to call it). But when it comes to your business and leadership -- your energy dictates your success. It impacts: ✶ HOW YOU LEAD YOUR TEAMS Your energy dictates the flow of your team. They prioritize white glove service, leading with integrity, and impact over income. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know their deepest pain points (the stuff that keeps them up at night) and what their end goals are. Although they are different, I can uniquely understand their goals and areas of support. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Understanding your ideal client isn't just a foundational practice -- it's something you revisit each and every time you launch a new product, service or division of your business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here's what you want to think about: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✶ Your quarterly promotional plan What are you selling, to whom?
