A few tips to stop the scroll...and keep your audience’s interest. Save for later and tell me ONE thing that makes you stop the scroll and engage! Is it nice photos? Good hooks? I want to know what does it for you.👇
10 ways to increase your story views and engagement: 1. make them interactive with stickers (polls, sliders, questions, etc) 2. avoid over posting with no point, too many slides will drop people off 3. don't just use them to share your feed posts...boring 4. use them to connect with your audience by showing your personality with behind-the-scenes slides 5. if you post daily and are struggling with views, consider taking a 24 hour break 6. use them to share content that is different from your feed and exclusive to your stories—mini trainings, offers, etc. 7. use them to shout out other accounts or share their content when it makes sense (not just in hopes of a reshare) 8. when resharing your shared posts, consider screenshotting them and posting them all in a single slide because sharing 10+ shared posts can get repetitive and bore your audience 9. host takeovers with other accounts that are of interest to your audience 10. create shareable graphics that your audience can screenshot or share ✖️Remember hashtags and location tags no longer work on stories so don't waste your time doing those. ✔️Save this for later and your favorite story tip in the comments.👇 📷 @mikemontero03

My 4 step content planning process! STEP 1 ❥Select 3-5 content pillars (topics/areas you will post about) ❥Divide them into categories (educational/relatable/promotional, etc) STEP 2 ❥Decide how many times per week you're posting ❥Set up a monthly calendar with a content pillar per week and alternate between categories keeping an 80/20 ratio of promotional posts being only around 20 percent of your content STEP 3 ❥Have a media library consisting of brand photos/videos, product photos, and stock photos if necessary ❥Have a selection of graphic templates to choose from for your brand on whatever design software you prefer, i.e. InDesign, Canva...etc. STEP 4 ❥Enter your days, pillars, and categories into your planning software of choice (Trello, Planoly, Later...etc), write a caption that fits, then choose an image or create a graphic for the specific post. ❥Since you're working with brand photos and brand assets for your graphics, you don't have to worry about them fitting in your grid because everything is on brand. Just keep an eye out for white space when placing photos and graphics to ensure your feed is not looking too cluttered. Is this how you plan your content? Please share the tools you use if your planning process looks different. 📷 @mikemontero03

Yesterday I posted about increasing your chance to make sales on Instagram by creating demand for your product/service. So I'm sharing this list of words to help you with content creation that will convert. ☑️Save it and pull it up the next time you're stuck writing copy.
Make more SALES on Instagram this month... Yeah growing your community is nice, but growing a community that will want to do business with you is nicer. Here are FOUR things to keep in mind if making sales is your end goal. ✴︎ HAVE A STRONG BRAND AND BE UNIQUE This isn't just a cohesive visual identity, but also consistent values and brand personality. Position your brand with your unique value proposition, this could be by infusing your own personal touch or creating a differentiating edge to your brand. ✴︎ BUILD AWARENESS WITH BRAND ADVOCATES It goes without say that you MUST provide an excellent experience if you want to create brand advocates. But in addition, why not encourage them to share your brand by rewarding them by referrals or an affiliate marketing program. ✴︎ STAY TOP OF MIND Think of all the places you can serve your ideal client and show up there. It could be via email or on different social media platforms. But if Instagram if your place of choice, stay top of mind by using all the ways you can be present—feed, stories, Reels, IG lives...etc. ✴︎ CREATE DEMAND When possible, use the shop feature on Instagram to make it easier to buy from you. Increase scarcity by having hard deadlines on sales (think one day drops or closing carts) and by creating exclusivity (the first 10 people, only xx quantity available). Which of these do you struggle with most? 📷 @mikemontero03
