See you on February 23, and check below for details! _____ Back by popular demand, the winter InstaMeet will be a sunset hike at the Point at Cape Henlopen State Park followed by a social with hot drinks. _____ Your very own DE State Parks marketing team will be leading a sunset photo hike at The Point at Cape Henlopen State Park on Saturday, February 23 beginning at 4:00pm. The Point is only open for hiking between October and March, and is the best place to catch a sunset over the Delaware Bay. A Park interpreter will join us to provide information about the park’s natural and cultural resources. After the hike, join us hot drinks in the parking lot. _____ Now is your chance to connect with other Park loving photographers, meet the DE State parks marketing team, learn about the park, and watch a sunset. Plus, we will be featuring photos from attendees on our Facebook, Instagram, and blog. Check out this piece from the @delseashorestatepark beachcombing collection! This dolphin vertebrae is one of 73 bones in the mammals vertebral column. Though the species is unknown, all dolphins have similar anatomical and morphological characteristics that do not differ from each other. With the second largest mammal brain in comparison to body size, next to humans, these creatures are physically and mentally streamlined for survival in water. #destateparks
