• Another little drypoint print. This time it's an Acorn Weevil. Kinda cute (if you like that sort of thing). The first photo shows how I gently wipe the ink off the surface of the plate with tissue paper. The ink inside the groves (carved in the beetle shape) is left behind. Life 1 The Bodyguard : To protect my more expensive paper for getting damaged . Life 2 The Cleaner : morphed into a kind of #blottingpaper to absorb excess water from wet prints under weights. (Dried & repeat) . Life 3 The Protector : It protected my table to from #printing #ink , while inking plates . Life 4 The Messenger : An envelope ready to fly across the sea to France to deliver the news inside. . Life 5 The #Muse : after seeing it folded I think it makes a great #pattern .
