  • If there's anything I've learnt over the past 8 years running my own business, it's that nothing ever comes easy. I recalled the CNA interview with @annahaotanto where she said that she had hoped any entrepreneur would have told her that entrepreneurship is hard work. Being an entrepreneur means you'd have to sacrifice so much sleep, vacation time and even time with loved ones. In order for the site to function well, we need to totally understand the buyer persona. With constant brainstorming sessions with their owner, we were able to understand the buyers better. Our strategy: We built a simple navigation bar for the buyers. Simple to navigate when there's a few things to focus on. Sales skyrocketted on the launch day, with a high number of buyers coming from the navigation bar alone. Flow of customers remains consistent days after launch until today. I can ask myself What makes you special? and can stare at a blank paper for hours. Once I understood my WHY it became clearer for me. Why Allah guided me to meet amazing people that challenge and make me stronger; why He made me go through all those experiences. Then, this struck me. Lovelies, the journey you go through in life isn't a coincidence. You're meant to take that path towards becoming who you are today. The journey and experiences you went through are solely unique to you. Stories of people's lives may sound familiar to yours, but they are never identical. That is what makes you special. Dive deep into your heart and identify your why. Why are you here on Earth? Why are you doing what you do? Why those steps you took led you to these outcomes? Once you've identified your why, your whole world becomes easier to maneuver. You'll no longer be feeling like a hot mess, coz babe, you've totally got it together.   • When it comes to perfection, I can relate. I have been stuck in the need to be perfect since I was 8, and that trully hasn't done me any good. You see, I have a theory. I don't know if it already exists, but this is one theory I came up with. When you try to be perfect, you'll be stuck in the Paradox of Perfection. You work on one thing, attempt to make it perfect.   • I did not find love overnight. I embraced my being, and let my personality shine. I laid down my expectations of myself and that of my future partner. When I was ready, this man appeared in my life. He was nothing like I had expected of a man to marry. But he fulfilled the most important criteria: ability to support me and guide me. Right after a month of dating with @azamirul, my dad passed on. Having lost the breadwinner to my family, I was aimless. I didn't know what to do with my life. He entered my life just a month before my Dad's passing. As I grieved, He granted patience in @azamirul to support me in my life. Amirul would always be there for me, and be supportive of my endeavors. Allah definitely had great plans for us, ensuring that @azamirul was reconnected into my life before I had to face my struggles alone. Allah blessed me with support from this man, when I was at my lowest point in my life. There's always a storm before a rainbow. And at the end of that rainbow is a pot of gold. Stay positive, stay steadfast and be grateful of your trials. Only when you're grateful will you truly understand the beauty of your challenges. About 5 years ago, I told myself that I'm not able to survive the way I did. I was just tired of the way I was living in. I no longer want to live from hostel to hostel. I didn't want to beg for people's sympathy. I wanted to create change, and I wanted to do it on my own. One person in particular gave me the confidence to do just that. She said I have faith that you will make it. I believe in you. That person, was my mother. Fast forward to today, if I had dwelled on my misery then, I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't have experienced filming in Bosnia, traveling regularly to visit exotic places, or working with notable brands like ERA, IHS Markit, Nat Geo and many more. You, my lovely, are meant to do so much great things. Don't ever allow one person's negativity cloud you with self-doubt. Let that self-doubt remain temporary, and your determination to carry on be the permanent motivation.
