But, we've been having gorgeous weather here and have taken full advantage of it by being outside. . . . We homeschool year round with a lighter schedule. We plan to read through the Magic Tree House series, continue with math, reading, and do more nature studies. All the kids are super excited for summer to be here. . . . To the mom who's currently hiding in the bathroom pretending to poop so she can get a break with her phone. To the mom who's in tears because her toddler won't stop throwing a fit and to the mom with a teen who's going through a hard time. . . I see you and I see your struggle. I have 5 kids ages 1 up to 14. I get the struggle because I LIVE in it. Everyday life is far from Instagram perfect. Of course I try to put my best foot forward on here. Let me show you the less than perfect mom I am. . . 🙋‍♀️I lose my patience throughout the day more than I would like to admit. 🙋‍♀️I love Jesus, but I say cuss words. 🙋‍♀️I currently have more dirty laundry than I care to admit. 🙋‍♀️I have my older kids sometimes do the chores that I hate doing. 🙋‍♀️ I lock my bedroom door and ignore my kids so I can just breath. 🙋‍♀️My kids have had ice cream for breakfast because I've been too tired to cook. 🙋‍♀️I locked my kids outside so I can get this post up. . . There you have it, me. The me I hide from social media because it doesn't align with what I'm supposed to be. So don't go feeling guilty because your toddler is eating a cold hot dog for lunch because I've been there. And don't go feeling guilty because you have a teenager who is bent on being rebellious, I've been there. And definitely don't feel guilty for locking your kids outside so you can get lunch made, I'm currently on my way there. 🤣 . . We all struggle and it's okay. Pick up and try again tomorrow. . .
