Reminiscing on previous travels and remembering that I used to want to be a travel photographer ✨ tell me, where’s the first place you’ll go after this is all over?
Like everyone else out there, I am missing fresh air like crazy but also being in nyc I’m missing these green Virginia wineries 😍 Also unrelated to these photos but if you know me, then you know I LIVE for sitcoms. Specifically Parks and Rec but also the Office, New Girl, Brooklyn 99, Arrested Development, and the Good Place 😄 I just finished watching Schitt’s Creek and I’m probably gonna wait til season 6 comes out on Netflix which means I need a new show! What are your favorites? Let me know what to watch next 👇🏼
It was easy to take this kind of togetherness for granted, and it extra warms my heart to look at past photos of wedding receptions right now. I hope you all squeeze your people extra strong when you get a chance to do so safely 💛
My new website is officially live!✨ I am so excited to finally share this with you all. It’s been in the works for quite some time, and it’s the product of finally figuring out my brand voice and what I offer, mixed with a lot of help from @kat.cosma on the design side. To me this website is more than just some random words and links and images splattered on the page — it finally represents me and, I hope, lets people know exactly what they’re in store for when they hire me. I hope when you look at it, that you get a sense for who I am and really feel the emotion in the moments that I’ve captured for other people. My old website didn’t feel like me, and this one does, and that’s really cool to me. I hope you like it, let me know. www.jessicaspoll.com
Has your wedding been affected by COVID-19? If you’re one of the couples that’s dealing with needing to postpone their wedding right now, I can only imagine how painful this whole situation must be. I know it’s hard to stomach, but on top of that, it’s logistically a huge headache. I want to make this as easy as possible for everyone. For my current clients, I’ve been in touch about the process of rescheduling and am working with affected couples to get everything switched over to their new dates. We’re getting through this! For those who aren’t my clients, but their original photographer couldn’t work with your new date, send me a DM! I can send you my calendar of availability and if I’m free for your date, I’m offering a special rate. I don’t want anyone to feel helpless right now, and I know this might seem that way. But we will figure it all out. Call your parents, stay inside, wash your hands, play an old video game, have fun, we’re in this together and I’m here for you all 💛
✨DOUBLE GIVEAWAY!!!✨ I’ve been talking a lot about Honey & Hive this week and their custom cookbooks, and I am so excited to partner with them in a giveaway for your very own custom cookbook! H&H’s custom cookbooks are perfect for wedding gifts, and I personally think they are an awesome idea rather than the usual gift from registry or giving cash. Honey & Hive does all the work to make the cookbook - you just submit an email list. The result is a hardbound book full of recipes, photos, and stories from your friends and family! The *DOUBLE* part of the giveaway is that if you win, someone you’ve tagged will ALSO WIN a $20 Starbucks gift card! I know it sucks to tag people when you feel like you’re being annoying, but this way they get a chance to win too ;) You can enter here to win your own custom cookbook from Honey & Hive, Here are the rules to enter: 1. Like this post 2. Follow me & @honeyandhivecreations 3. Tag a friend in a comment! (1 friend per comment, each friend is 1 entry. Remember, one of the tagged friends will win a gift card if you win!) 4. Share this post in your story and tag me for 5 extra entries! (I will not see this if you are private) This giveaway ends this Tuesday, March 17 at midnight EST. I will announce the winner the next day! 🥳
Throwing it back to this sunny August wedding day because my insta has been lacking green since moving to nyc 🌳
There are few things that make me as happy as watching golden hour turn into blue hour over the city ✨
