For the newer shows, as soon as that skip intro button pops up, we’re hittin it. But you won’t catch us skipping out on the la-las on Gilmore Girls. And there’s not a chance we’d miss belting out dun dun dun da dun da dun… while watching The Office. So is it just us?   • One thing Spencer had never seen before moving to Santa Barbara was a crowded beach. I remember the first time we loaded the boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and picnic basket into the car for the first time to head to the beach. We grabbed everything from the trunk and started walking to the beach. When we finally saw the sand Spencer was stunned. He couldn’t understand why everyone was there. After a few minutes of disbelief it all started to make sense. Growing up in Oregon the coast (as they call it) was also gray and cloudy. The water was cold and you rarely saw anyone else on the beach. The beaches up there are for shells and running from the waves. Very different for an Oregonian to witness something he’d only ever seen in movies.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And if you’ve never tried a peanut butter & jelly sandwich on the beach then you are missing out! 😱 What is your favorite picnic lunch or snack to bring to the beach?
