I am absolutely thrilled to be able to announce that this Copenhagen micro wedding editorial will be featured by @thewhitewren blog in May! Just in time to inspire all of you summer brides✨ I am so proud of the whole team who worked so very hard at making everything come to life! Covid has been devastating in so many ways, including for the wedding industry. Getting to work with and create beauty with such a wonderful and talented group of vendors felt like a small glimmer of hope during a time that has otherwise been very confusing and difficult. I hope that when all the images are released in May they will inspire you all and that they will bring you all the same sense of hope as I felt during the creation of them!🥰 I cannot wait to share more images with you all very soon! Stay tuned! Be sure to check out the amazing team that I will be featured alongside! Wishing you all a wonderful beginning to the new month! ✨ I can barely believe that it's already March! February flew by, and spring, with its blooms and warmer weather and longer days is just around the corner! This last week I attended an online meditation and spiritual dance class, and it was such a wonderfully empowering and healing experience. Especially one song really inspired me with its melody and lyrics, and I want to share some of the lyrics with you: "Beloved Child Go out and open doors With your love With your faith With your compassion With your grace" I'm keeping these words in mind as I enter into the month of March. I'll be looking for opportunities to open doors with my love, faith, compassion and grace❤️

I am always reaching for the stars and doing my best to BE the best I can be - for myself and others❤️ This constant reaching has taken me so many amazing places, but as a recovering perfectionist I also have learned the hard way the importance of slowing down sometimes and taking time for self care, reflection and restitution! I believe that in order to serve others wholeheartedly in the manner they deserve, I need to be my best self! Sometimes that means hustling hard, and sometimes it means taking a day cuddled up on the couch with my cats! Today was one of those cat cuddling Sundays, and it was just what I needed. How are you spending your Sunday? Are you hustling or resting?

Reading has always been a big part of my life. The genre that I enjoy has changed a bit over the years, as has my reason for reading, but my love for it has remained. I used to enjoy reading fiction and as a child I used reading as a way of escapism. I was fascinated with the worlds of opportunity that existed within the pages of a book, and when I would read, my eyes would glide across the pages and a movie would play in my mind of what I was reading. I have so many good memories of sitting outside in trees, or cuddled up under my blanket with a flashlight reading! Already in middle school I became fascinated with the classical works of literature started by a reading of Jane Eyre for school. I also fell in love with Shakespeare and romantic poetry, and I brought this love with me throughout high school and into university where I majored in English. Around the time of starting this business, I also started feeling an interest for the self-help genre of books and the amount of wisdom that is out there in regards to leading an entrepreneurial life! Lately, I haven't prioritised much time for reading, the last few weeks I am finding myself being drawn in by the magic of it once again. My mind longs for the inspiration and beautiful imagery of Keats, and Wordsworth and Blake, exploring the depths of the human mind and emotions! I seek the knowledge of other entrepreneurs who have paved a way of learning before me! So, today I ordered a handful of books that have long been on my "to read" list and I scowered my book shelf and pulled out some of my old well-loved books of poetry. I am so excited to start reading more again, to feel the beauty of the written words in my soul, and to be inspired to think more deeply, live more deeply, and love more deeply. Because, to me, that is what worthwhile literature does, it inspires us to think deeper, live deeper, and love deeper. I would love to know, do you love reading too? What is your favorite genre? For anyone who plans to visit Copenhagen, be sure to add Amalienborg Palace to your list (if you've made any plans to visit Copenhagen, it probably is already on your list, it's a beauty) 😉✨ There is something so luxurious about the old palaces and castles in and around Copenhagen that really intrigues me! Walking through the palace courtyard or the castle gardens honestly feels like a trip back in time, and every time I walk by Amalienborg I can't help but imagine the amazing balls that took place on the inside of the walls or the clicking of hooves as horse-drawn carriages were being pulled across the cobblestone✨ And the most amazing part in my opinion is that the royal family STILL lives here during part of the year! Events still are hosted here, the royal guard still patrols the grounds, and every once in a while horse drawn carriages still click across the cobblestone. History and the present coexist within the walls of Amalienborg - and in Copenhagen in general. And that, I find truly magical!

Focusing on gratitude today❤️ What is one thing you are grateful for today? Let me know in the comments! I'll go first, one thing I'm grateful for is nature! I am constantly inspired by the beauty of nature. The way a bird soars across the sky. A bee collecting pollen. A snowflake falling from the sky. A ray of sun. A leaf turning colors. So many little miracles and wonders happen in nature every single day, and today I am feeling particularly grateful and inspired by it✨ Now tell me, what are you grateful for today?

The Copenhagen canals and soft evening light go so well together✨ Right now the lakes and canals in Copenhagen and in many other parts of Denmark are frozen over, and people are joyfully skating and skiing around on the ice!❄️ Snow and ice truly adds such a magical flair to winter. What about you? Are you a fan of the cold magic of winter or the warm beauty of summer? ☀️❄️
