• This weekend we will be back at @ritzcarltonbacarasb for a collaborative editorial! We miss weddings so much, but while we wait patiently... we’re getting creative. Stay tuned for BTS & some beautiful coastal inspiration ✨

  • Fifteen years ago today, at the tender age of 15, I suddenly lost my mom to a brain aneurysm. It’s unimaginable that I’ve almost lived longer without her than I did with her. These photographs are all that I have left to remember her by and each one has taught me how powerful a portrait can be.

These images are my most cherished possession and the reason why I chose to pursue a career in photography. I wanted to help capture memorable moments for families so they too could be shared and adored. Growing up, one of my favorite things to do was opening my Nana’s wooden chest and rummage through all of the loose family photographs inside. These snapshots from our family’s past would only show a glimpse of the photo’s meaning so I would ask my Nana to share stories about each imagine and she was always happy to oblige.

Shuffling through this trove of photos today feels like I’ve stepped into a time capsule. They help me feel closer to my mom, remind me of her smile, her laugh, the way she would play with my hair as she watched the sopranos...they bring to life the memories that feel like they’re fading away as time passes by. 💛 #15years

  • And just like that the powers out... we will be eating takeout by candlelight tonight and I’m not mad about it. I love this rainy weather 🤗

One of my favorite images from Allie & Spencer’s rainy Santa Barbara engagement session

  • As I scrolled through some past weddings today this image stopped me in my tracks. It’s one of my favorite and most emotional images from Liz and Ernest’s wedding... these are the moments that matter 💛
