Balancing Time is HARD No, seriously - this is beyond just your basic “time blocking” stuff You schedule a day off or whatever it is - but I’m going with a day off. All of a sudden people are filling out your lead form and want calls with you. Your entire day tomorrow is open so you cringe as you see they can’t book until next week. Should you contact and say “Hey - I’ve got time!” You always want the business....the money is nice STOP As I’m typing this, I’m thinking all these things because today I am not actively scheduled for anything on purpose. Last night 3 people filled out my form The calls are being scheduled for next week I’m cringing But I’m stopping as well. Why? Because once I break that 1st boundary another one can be broken. We need time off. We need to let our brain settle and slow down some. We also need to set boundaries in order to provide the best service EVER Let the systems that you have in place do their damn jobs and do the work you need them to do. Don’t over accommodate because you won’t always be able to do that. Take time off - or else you will burn out and not be good for anyone.
