Today, I’m announcing two new projects under the Rational Expression umbrella: @creatingwearablestories and @rationalrecordsandtapes. When I envisioned Rational Expression, it was a multi-disciplined approach incorporating all of my interests. Everything is interconnected to me, whether it’s photography, music, or sneakers. “Creating Wearable Stories” was a tagline I created last year when starting RE. It signified the meaning behind the pictures which inspired the products I created. Lots of the clothing and sneakers I’ve purchased have a narrative around them, as well. From hard-to-acquire pieces, to great deals, to items that have a personal significance: there’s a story to tell. Music has been a part of RE from the beginning. Weekly playlists and concert photos make up a good chunk of the content. Rational Records and Tapes will showcase my current collection of music and provide backstories about the release, where I was at in my life, and other noteworthy tidbits. This page will remain film photography-focused but each account will be synergistic with one another. Like I said before, everything is interconnected. I hope you enjoy the content and I’m looking forward to sharing!
