Building Bridges 🌁 Year 5 used @planbeeteaching to investigate making different beams out of pieces of card to decide which was the most effective to inform their planning and design for a final product for when they make their own bridge 🌉

Pilgrims of Hope 🕯️ Today Mrs Byrne presented a special whole school Celebration of the Word focusing on on the 2025 Jubilee Year. The Holy Father has announced that the theme for the Jubilee 2025 is ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ It will be a year of hope for a world suffering the impacts of conflict, war and the climate crisis. Over the year, our children will focus on how they and us as a school can use the Catholic Social Teaching principles to be ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ ❤️

Mixing 🥣 Our Nursery children had the opportunity today to make the their own dough. They looked at how to put the ingredients into a bowl and how many stirs created the dough. The dough was then baked and the children thought about how it went from soft to hard 🧁
