Today on #FacesOfNTS, meet one of our Louisville property managers, Mey Tumis. ๐๐ผ Mey has been a part of the @ntsdevelopment family for a year and a half, and was recently promoted to property manager at @hurstbournegrandapts. We asked her a few questions: ๐ช๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ค๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐?โฃ I think the biggest attraction of NTS is the relationships/responsibilities within the company are very personal for all of us. I definitely feel a responsibility of fulfilling my part of a bigger purpose which allows me take pride in the work that I do. Whether you have been here 25 years or 2 months โ the camaraderie among all of us is refreshing to be a part of.โฃ โฃ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐ฃ๐จ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐ค๐๐ง๐๐ฌ.โฃ Making big breakfasts, getting a good workout in, spending time with the family, and a nap on the couch makes for a great weekend in my opinion. โฃ โฃ ๐ช๐ก๐จ ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ง ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ก ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค? โฃ My maintenance supervisor, Tim Heeke is a phenomenal example of strict discipline, great work ethic and the caliber of professionalism and personality that I hope to emulate every time I walk into Hurstbourne. โฃ โฃ ๐ช๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐๐?โฃ Answer questions as if you were asking them, work hard for the purpose and not the paycheck, seize opportunities because itโs given to you. Work hard and your efforts will not go unnoticed and remember that what we do in multifamily is always personal to our residents. โฃ โฃ ๐ช๐ก๐๐ญโ๐ฌ ๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ฒ? โฃ There are two trips that I can say promoted change in me. Going to Kenya taught me humility and gratitude in everything that I do.โฃ Standing on Omaha Beach in Normandy, France was monumental. I was overcome by the most overwhelming sense of sacrifice, along with a deep respect for our military and country. โฃ โฃ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ง ๐๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ!โฃ My daughter and I were extras in a Nicholas Cage movie that never made the big screen!
