Posted @withregram • @intersectionsny Did you miss the @wcya2020 youth assembly last weekend? Intersections International was honored to partake in such a monumental event! We shared our insight on racial/economic injustice during the #COVID19 pandemic and a recap of the whole event is now up on our website! It was a pleasure engaging with over 300 youth participants from around the world for an electric conversation with @peacinstitute @beyondthebomb_ @peaceactionny @sgi.info @rosaluxnyc and @ippnw_central ! Join them all again this weekend for regional breakout sessions on Saturday, May 16th at 9am EST. More info can be found on the @wcya2020 page.

We’re afraid, yes, but it’s our job to ignore that fear and try our best. We all have a part to play in this crisis, the ones that can stay home, have to stay home and the rest just has to be responsible enough so that we can flatten the curve.” - @gamalexxelamag • To all the doctors, nurses and healthcare workers out there fighting the #covid-19 epidemic, we want to say: thank you, and we stand with you (from an appropriate social distance) 👏 • At ICAN, we’re very proud of our roots in the medical community and so inspired by all the incredible doctors, nurses, first responders and health-care workers who advocate and raise-awareness on the #nuclearban treaty. Our thoughts are with them as they continue to practise and save lives in these trying, surreal times. • We reached out to a few of the doctors in our network, asking them to share their photos and messages with us. The message above came from Dr Alexandra Arce von Herold, a psychiatrist working in Costa Rica’s San Juan de Dios hospital (second photo, second from the left). The photos came from all over the world. Tag a doctor, nurse, or healthcare worker you would like to thank in the comments below. • We'll start: @drruthmitchell @ican_australia @lakaremotkarnvapen @davidonazi @ippnw_central @psrnational • #flattenthecurve #covid19 #COVID #coronavirus #socialdistancing #doctors #ilooklikeasurgeon #neurosurgery #nurse #nurselife #heroes #inspiration #savelives #nuclearweapons

So incredibly excited to share my organization PEAC Institute received special consultative status with the UN! It’s such a huge honor and something I’ve been working on for over three years:)
With all that’s happening in the world right now never forget we all play a part and our ability to stay in light and love has a profound effect!
Freshly pressed UN pass for 2020. Big things brewing!
