Shoutout to Ángel Gonzalez, a student in our Ed.D. in community college leadership program! He has been named recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Doctoral Student Award by the @naspapics Latinx/a/o Knowledge Community. He will be recognized at the national convening later this spring. Congratulations, Ángel!
We're thrilled to announce that our college is the new home of the National Community College Hispanic Council (NCCHC) Leadership Fellows Program! Founded in 2003, the program aims to close a diversity gap between community college students and leadership by empowering Latinx community college administrators to advance into leadership positions. Of the 60 community college presidents nationwide from Latinx backgrounds, 15 are former NCCHC fellows! Learn more about this program at our LINK IN BIO!
