  • Thanks to all the students who joined Dr. Estella Chizhik and Dr. Regina Brandon this afternoon for “Take a Study Break!” Funded by the Provost’s Strategic Excellence Award, Chizhik and Brandon are working to address the teacher diversity gap by reaching out to students of color on campus to encourage them to apply for teacher credential programs. They also provide mentorship and support to students interested in the education field. Today’s great turnout for the first ever event was a great sign. Stay tuned for more next semester!
