WAIT. A. MINUTE...When is the last time you thought about the simple things that make you HAPPY? And then did MORE of that? I'm not talking about walking away from your responsibilities, but I am talking about adding more fun to them. I use to just do what needed to be done... And yes, I got a lot of stuff done, but it wasn't FUN. Then I had a total mind shift. I started looking for how I could infuse more joy into my work/day. I was still motivated by getting things done but I looked for how to make them more FUN FOR ME! I started buying these incredible pre-made lunches for myself and a lot of crab and butter (because nothing makes me happy like great food!) I bought really good smelling laundry detergent. Yep, it was a little more expensive but every-time I smell it, it makes me happy! I finally used my good silverware anytime I wanted to and not just for holidays. I got the fun smelly dish soap and spray so that every time I'm cleaning the kitchen it smells like summer or fall or Christmas (thank you Grove! If you want a free box, DM me and I can send you a link). The point is to add fun into the mundane! Have a dance mix for cleaning. Put on a foot mask while you sit on a zoom Garnish regular dinners and use the good dishes What else could we do??

Let's make more moments living our BEST life. I think sometimes we get stuck thinking our best life is out there. It's not, or at least it doesn't have to be. Last weekend, my little nephew came running back in the house wearing his red and white striped pajamas calling for us to come watch. He's 6 and he wanted us to see him ride his little Razor scooter "dirt bike" and watch his jumps. I turned to my sister and said, "he's living his best life!" Sitting with my hottie hubby, eating my very favorite pizza (the Pera) while I sip on my most favorite lemonade... that's me living my best life. Even this morning, on my run - which is NOT my favorite activity. In fact, it doesn't even make 🔝-💯 But as I pushed through my burning lungs and side ache - I turned the corner and suddenly there was this burst of fragrance from some nearby blooming tree. I could feel the sun and the breeze and even though it hurt - I was still running! And at that moment I got this huge goofy smile and thought, 'I'm living my best life right now!' 🥳 Our best life starts when we take a pause to notice the little moments of joy that are asking for us to claim them.

🤔Are you one of those who just keeps working, or do you stop to eat lunch? For YEARS I worked right through lunch. Full confession: I kept a bag of Oreos in my desk drawer and whenever I got hunger pains, I'd eat a couple and keep going. ...I know, super healthy life choices. 🙈 But then one day, I did an exercise. 🏃♀️🏋️⬅️ not that kind. (Feel free to try it for yourself). I closed my eyes and imagined my perfect day. 🌟 I imagined how it started, where I was, what I did, and how I felt... 😳And I was SHOCKED when my imagination had me pause and eat lunch. Lunch? I want a real "lunch break" - are those even a thing? Obviously they are... And the craziest thing was, this was an easy one! I could start living part of my perfect day immediately. 🤩 🤳So, everyday at noon an alarm started going off on my phone with the title: 'time to reset & refuel - enjoy your lunch!' Then I'd set a 30 minute timer and go to the fridge, pick one of the pre-made or fast lunches, sit down with either a magazine or my laptop so I could watch one of the 100 courses I'd bought 🤷♀️previously, but never had time to finish. That was NINE years ago. Today, I stop at noon every day and Adi has made me some incredible lunch. Usually, everyone comes out from school/work and we gather in the kitchen. We eat lunch, chat, and often play a quick card game. ❓So, what would your perfect day include? I hope you'll leave a comment because I'm seriously so curious!!!

I'm calling serious Bull-Honkey! 😳If you think you have to work crazy hours, give up your sanity and neglect your family to make 6-figures, then you need to hear this! Sure, you can waste tons of time and do a lot of guessing and wonder where the days and years went. But! You DON'T HAVE TO! A study showed that of 8 hours worked, only 2 hrs and 53 minutes were productive for most people. That's insane! When you do the RIGHT THINGS at the RIGHT TIME in the RIGHT PLACES... You can easily bring in 6-figures working a PART-TIME Schedule. Now that might sound like I'm just sling'n bullhonkey, so I checked our numbers. The first 6-figures that comes into LRI , ($113,400K more specifically) takes only 7 hours A WEEK to generate! You do not have to choose between being a good mom -OR- building a thriving business. I didn't know that in the beginning, and I wish I had. You can do both! Now if you're building a billion-dollar empire, maybe not... I don't know.l I have no experience with that one. 🤪 But for the rest of us who just want to be really, really comfortable - you can! So give yourself permission to do more of the right things in less time. Busy is not the goal my friend. Trade 'busy' for being effective and you won't believe what becomes possible!

Did you know what you wanted to be when you were a kid? I did not. ✨ The thing is, there wasn't really a name for what I wanted to do. And I didn't really know how to articulate what I love doing. ✨ As a kid, I might have said that I wanted to tell people what to do. What can I say? I'm a big sister, I'm good at being bossy. 🙈 ✨ But actually, that's exactly what I do. 😂 But in a nice, fun, helpful way of course. ✨ But seriously, I get to help women scale their business... And not just get massive growth but in a way that FEELS good for them. ✨ You do NOT need to decide if you're going to be a good mom OR a successful business owner. ✨ You do NOT need to decide if you're going to create a happy home OR a 6-figure+ income. ✨ But way way back I was terrified that I did have to choose. Scared to death that if I chose motherhood, I had to give up on my own dreams. And if I chose my dreams it meant my kids were destine to sit with a therapist one day telling their mom-woes. ✨ I am telling you, BOTH are possible! So, so so freaking possible. ✨ You don't have to choose between this this OR that... You can do both WELL! 💗

In 2009 I decided I wanted to speak on stage. Only I had no idea how to get someone to hire me. So, I hired myself. 😬 Yep, I put together my own event and guess who was the speaker - meeee! I then leveraged that speaking event and the testimonials that came from it to prove myself for the next opportunity and the next. I'm so grateful I didn't wait for someone to give me permission. If I had, I might still be waiting. Too many women are waiting for permission. 🛑STOP IT! You DO NOT need permission to do whatever it is that's on your heart. If it's on your heart, then God put it there and that ALL the permission you need. I have so many conversations with women who hold back because know one had said, "go" Well, here it is. Here is your permission... 📢 GO! 📢 🤔Even though you're not experienced? 🤔Even thought you're not fully ready? 🤔Even thought there's still more to learn? YES! Welcome to the tribe of go-getters. You're a perfect fit!

📚😳 Does anyone read books anymore?? I was recently asked how I read so much... Let's start by clarifying, I LISTEN to so many books... I only READ about 6 a year. Over the last 3 years, I averaged 56 books a year. For all of you bibliophilias, that won't be a lot. My daughter easily surpasses me - and she actually READS most of them. But since the average American reads about 4 to 5 a year, here's how I do it while also running a company, homeschooling my kids, teaching a religion class...all the stuff. It'a combination of Airpods + Audible + the Library App. I take all of those and combine them with long walks and ANY TIME I'm in the car. To make sure every car ride can be book time, I have a different book for every scenario. Just me, me+hubs, me+son, me+daughters me+all the kids... You get it. I've also learned to listen on fast speeds (when it's just me). I did it by incrementally working my way up. 1.2 to 1.3. Then 1.5, 1.75. Now, I'm almost always listening at 2X or even 2.2X and the crazy thing - it sounds totally normal to me now. 🤓 But that means I can read a book in HALF the time. So, that's how I do it. And then when I finish a book, I document it in my little journal with a 🌟system for how much I liked it. 📖What's the last book you read???
