Book 3 in the restoration reading list. It started slow but out of necessity, explaining how the brain works but then got really interesting with the chapters on depression and anxiety. Bottom line though; there is not a lot we know about the brain and what causes mental illness and neither are there easy answers when it comes to treatment. Every brain is different.

I’ve just finished the first of the pile of books that I’ve assembled for the next few months. Gut examined the gut strangely enough and the potential impact of gut health and bacteria on our health including the mind/ body connection and mental health. Mental health will feature strongly in my reading list🤦🏽

I’m odd, a social and societal misfit that doesn’t belong. The exception is when I am running and especially on a day like today. This is where I am at home.

Hangin’ around in lockdown with nobody to hook up with. Eating handfuls of raw broccoli, cutting my toenails and outstaring the pigeons. Waiting for Wednesday.
