Our 3D-printers has been installed. With dual-extrusion and soluble support filament the possibilities are endless for your prototypes.
Now the renovation of CASE LAB is almost done! We are all very excited to start making all kind of cool projects here this upcoming semester.
Today CASE participated in Robot SM. We competed in line-following and ended up at second place. A big thanks to the organizer @chalmersrobotics for a great competition.
During our visit at the Hannover Messe we visited hundreds of exhibitors with robots, 3D-printers, motors, ball bearings and a lot more. Our own president showed his super fast reflex and won over a robot in air-hockey.
The board is currently in Germany visiting the Hannover Messe. The exhibition is about industry 4.0, IoT, robotics, connectors and the latest innovations within manufacturing. The exhibition grounds consist of 26 enormous buildings that covers 1 millions square meters. Let’s see what it has to offer! 🤖
Instead of just using traditional 3D-printer we are using a SLS-printer (Selective laser sintering). The SLS-printer uses nylon powder and a laser to melt the powder and create prototype parts. These parts have much higher details and higher durability. The models shown in the picture is our stress-test to evaluate the printers quality and we are more than excited to test more.
