Tonight is the night! We are traveling to North Carolina and plan to arrive just in time to see the sunrise on the beach ☀️🌊 I am so happy to be joining Alyssa and Paul for their destination wedding this week! Finally, we are Outer Banks bound! 💕
Each morning, I fill the pages of my journal with gratitude lists, including everything from my sweet clients, my supportive friends & family, Steele bug, this amazing job that doesn’t feel like work, days spent relaxing in our cozy home, days spent exploring new places, warm weather, celebrations of love... I could go on and on... Because truly, I am SO hankful. In the spirit of gratefulness, I want to tell you that I appreciate your virtual friendship more than you know. Nothing warms my heart quite like serving you, and the Instalove you leave here, especially throughout the hardest of times in the world, does not go unnoticed. I wouldn’t be who I am without your encouragement and support. As we wrap up this warm and wonderful weekend, I feel so much gratitude to pursue what I love and to have you here for the ride. I’ll never tire of saying it, friends. Thank you for being here. ❤️
If I could, I would catch shooting stars right from the heavens so that you could gaze upon them every day. I would ask the wind to whisper my love until the day it blew it to you, and I would ask the sea to try to match the color of your eyes so that you may look upon the water and smile and laugh. I would tell the world to draw me a map so that I could find my way back to you. Maybe one day I can hold you in my arms and whisper what the winds could not tell you, and feel your heartbeat, and love you.
“Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it. My optimism, then, does not rest on the absence of evil, but on a glad belief in the preponderance of good and a willing effort always to cooperate with the good, that it may prevail.” ― Helen Keller
“We’ll be known for our opinions, but remembered for our love.” I believe it in the core of my being. I have it permanently written on my skin. I believe that you should LOVE, always. No matter the race. No matter the gender. No matter the religion. No matter the obstacles and hardships we face in this world. You can choose to LOVE, not hate. Whether your words are said publicly or privately, whether your actions are seen by all or seen by none, the important thing is that they’re said and done, continually, maybe imperfectly, but with love. In the words of the wonderful Amy Demos, what happens inside AND outside the four walls of our homes can’t be confined or defined by the four sides of a social media square. We must love others, not just through what we say (or don’t say) online, but through our actions every day. Sending you all love and light today ✨
How many times can I type and erase paragraphs upon paragraphs... fearful of saying the wrong things or not acknowledging the right things... So I’ll just say this: Caring about the life of another isn’t political or controversial. It’s human. Whether you are on the front lines serving or asking for change, or you’re internalizing the hurt and heartache...I love you. Whether you are signing petitions and donating money, or still trying to find the words to say as the world crumbles beneath your feet...I love you. I see you. I’m with you. In a world full of hate, be a light. Please check your heart. Please educate yourself. Please use your voice. Please take productive action. Please practice peace. Please empathize and care for one another. We can all do better. Every life is precious. All love deserves to be celebrated.
Praying for peace. Praying for unity. Praying for change.
