Very pleased with these early results in scagliola of my Thames series. Yet to be varnish though when they will really pop out the color. Currently they are hanging out to dry. The image on the left is south facing under tower bridge. The right is south facing also at about 4:30 pm, January this year , looking at battersea power station. I was taking walks up and down the Thames during lock downs . Also the canals. And will continue the series. I’ve been trying to test myself using a color palette that isn’t so saturated like my jungle works. #thethamesriver #scagliola

Let’s talk about kenny… actually let’s not talk about kenny. Let’s , let kenny talk about kenny. Right kenny? After all what’s not too say about kenny as kenny has said it all. I made this of the man himself in his now famous office that he has turned into his HQ bunker of art hoarding and a backdrop for his virtual reality , snuff like art house movies of him falling down his steps like Dante at the hands of the death hoarder himself. Here he is with his tenth double coffee (not Guinness , he’s a good boy like me now) of the day and his tablet which he taps away on. Legend has it there are in fact two Kenny’s. I’ve just iPad painted one on this occasional and printed him on a scagliola mould that got chipped on the bottom, which I love, it makes this ancient yet brand NEW stone tablet feel like it came down the mountain, up the mountain or most likely out of A mythological cave. iPad portrait of my friend Issy wood in her east London studio 2019. printed onto cotton. The result is wonderful and strange like seeing oil pastels mixed with a heavy watercolor embedded into cloth. Mixing the brilliance of @procreate tools that represent different mediums and then translating them onto different surfaces is delightful. Here I used digital oil brush, wet acrylic, dry point pen and Salamanca brush . Swipe for details . I get such a kick out of it. @simondepury
