• Happy Solstice (Winter and Summer!) 🌞 and Happy International Yoga Day! 🧘 Winter Solstice is the both the shortest day of the year and the longest night of the year here in the Southern Hemisphere. It's time to be still and listen in. It's also a great time to let go and release what you can from the last 6-months. It feels good to find completion and let go of what is no longer aligned for you. Acknowledge if there’s anything you would like to change and let go of, write it out, carry forward any wisdom from the experience, releasing the rest to make room for something new. A rainbow can be a sign of new beginnings. As you write down something you'd like to release, also write an intention to carry forward, something that will support you in your emerging dreams. Then burn the old πŸ”₯ plant the new πŸͺ΄ and listen into your dreams and inner guidance to see what is alive and resonant for you now.   • Back on the stage next week with these fabulous women in a play called 'Bombshells' by Joanna Murray Smith. We did this play locally in Wollombi last year in November with Bare Productions producing and directing and it's heading to Newcastle from 8th April for a short run. I don't do many plays, life is already full, but now and again I get that twinkle to get back on stage, when the writing, character and creative company light that little flame, and despite my resistance the words 'yes ok I'll do it' come out of my mouth. It keeps my little creative spirit alive and challenged - 30 minutes of monologue in 40 degrees with hot flushes challenged last November! BUT I always learn something new about myself, about others, about life. I'm always humbled, inspired and more connected by the experience in some way and grateful for that 'yes.'
