1. An Entitled Earner doesn’t perform during the interview process. 2. An Entitled Earner is worthy of a higher than average offer package because they asked for it. 3. An Entitled Earner gets a high offer regardless of their accent, if English is a second language........or if they are recovering from imposter syndrome, social anxiety or people-pleasing. 4. An Entitled Earner is not a workhorse. They utilize their voice and create strong boundaries in the interview process and at work. 5. An Entitled Earner is a Business Partner. They are not an assistant. 6. Entitled Earners are enthusiastic about their work product. They continuously grow and grow the people around them. Prepare for you interviews by 'falling in love' with the company and speaking intelligently and thoughtfully about who they are. - Don't worry about saying the right or wrong thing. - Listen more and say less. - Make sure that you understand your role and ask any questions to get to this. The minute you start to creating answers based on what you think they'd like to hear is the minute you start becoming less and less desirable as a candidate. You don't need to prove your worth during an interview. You need to show up, be prepared and allow them to show you who they are. Want help with this? The next opportunity to start working with me is Dec. 23rd. Give yourself the best Christmas gift of all. A new role, title, and a soul aligned offer package. Steph #interviewtips #sixfigurecatalyst

I used to buy into the old mold of what leadership was but this Mercury retrograde/Scorpio season changed my perspective on this forever. Thank you @daughterofuranusastrology for the heads up! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you'd like to get hired into a leadership position you may want to consider that: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. A leader may stay up at night thinking about their team and the teams' goal while the team member may clock out & hit the sheets.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. A leader can't afford to indulge a bad day, be short with people or act (justifiably) irritated. They have no choice but to practice patience and rise above even when they may not want to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. A leader has likely done your job without the automation, guidance or blueprint you have. They bled, sweat and tear-ed your job to bits before THEY created the manual and handed it to you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. They care about you. They care about PEOPLE. Instead of taking a 'me day', they take a 'me day while thinking about you, your goals and how to help you day'. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5. They grew elephant skin because they had to. They are responsible for a $$$ lot. And catch heat about it often.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A leader can be a leader while also being:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ self-conscious.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ having visible anxiety.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ a trembling voice.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ be softspoken.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you're in the interview process right now and your focus is to be validated or to be a 'star', just know that I honor you but a leader isn't 'a star' a leader serves. And thats why people follow them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Would you add anything to this list? Let me know! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ --⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *I think evolved leaders know how to set boundaries between work and personal time, just noting this here.
As @spiritdaughter said, "See the details of your life coming together to form the bigger picture and be grateful for it." If you've realized this career... this position, is no longer serving you, then lean into that feeling and realize it is your blessing in disguise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A few things you can do to start the exit process is to slowly start turning your LinkedIn into a place you frequent, just because you feel so damn good about yourself. Here’s how:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Choose a better picture. One that reminds you of a positive moment in life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Update your summary. Not with stuffy language but with your voice. Talk about your passions, what you do in your free time, why your work interests you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Throwdown some bragging language under your work experience. Like how you were promoted and finished every project under budget and early. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And lastly...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. Commit to dreaming. Daydream your perfect Monday morning...jot it down...visualize/think about it before bed. Then open up LinkedIn and apply to the positions that stand out. Make it be fun and free. The universe will guide you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The job search doesn't have to feel heavy, especially for you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you want more tips on how to navigate it better than join me on Sunday nov. 17th. for my free, intimate and soul aligned masterclass. Bring tea and your questions. <3 Would love to see you there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #scorpioseason #toxicworkenvironment
