Power outages during hurricanes. Something I wish I wasn’t used to, but living in Louisiana all my life we gotten accustomed to days and nights like this. Thank goodness we made it through the storm relatively unscathed. It could’ve been much worse, and for some it was. Here we go again!! Prepping for yet ANOTHER hurricane. Delta has shifted her path so she no longer is heading directly though Baton Rouge, but we are on the eastern side of it and anyone who’s lived through years of hurricane seasons can tell you the east side is NOT the good side. My parents and family in Alexandria are directly in the path of the eye. I have friends in lake Charles and Lafayette and Breaux Bridge who will be directly impacted by Delta.
