Those big, adorable eyes probably earned you seconds or thirds too!! 👀🥄 We’re happy that you get a warm meal every day and that you’re in the loving care of the Early Childhood Development Center in Cambodia. 🖍 Gregg, you’ll always have a seat at the table. ________________________________________ #lovewithoutboundaries❤️ #everychildcounts #lwbcambodia #earlychildhoodeducation #cambodia
When the need is critical, LWB moves quickly. And hunger is a critical need. ⏱ Thanks to your donations last week for a new school in Vithu Village, Cambodia, hot lunch began today! 🍚 Some of the local grandmas are using their own cooking fires to make sure the kids are fed while the kitchen is being built. 🔥 Leng, our in-country director says the whole community is behind this project! We are grateful to get to come alongside them. Such a joy! Go, grandmas, go!
News from our LWB community this week is bittersweet. ❤️ Alongside our grief over baby Kinkey’s passing, is celebration for Vithu Village in Cambodia. Thank you for journeying through the heartbreak and victories of this work alongside us. Thank you for hoping, praying, donating, grieving, celebrating, and caring. You donated $30,000+ so a whole village of vulnerable kids could have a school to attend. While many of their parents are migrant workers, kids are left caring for younger siblings. With this new school, the children will learn, and receive a warm meal, in a safe environment. We’re dreaming big for these strong children. _________________________________________ #lovewithoutboundaries❤️ #everychildcounts #lwbcambodia #earlychildhoodeducation #dreambig #cambodia
Update: With sad hearts, we must share that baby Kinley passed away last night. We are forever grateful to all of you who sent an avalanche of love, donations, and prayers, making it possible to give her a chance at life. Please keep her precious mother in your prayers as she grieves and makes her way back to Uganda. ♥️ We know so many of you have baby Kinley on your hearts. ❤️ In a few hours in India, doctors will attempt to take her off ECMO. Please be thinking of her and her brave mother. We’re praying and hoping for a miracle for her fragile heart and lungs. ♥️
It’s been said that talking to your plants makes them grow. 🪴 13-year-old Jalen’s favorite place in his foster home in India is on the balcony where the plants are. 🌿 He helped plant them, waters them, and sometimes, when he’s alone on the balcony, he’ll talk to them! Can any plant lovers out there relate? 🪴 Plant-loving Jalen needs a sponsor to help him remain in his foster home. Anyone want to help Jalen grow under the love and care of a foster family? 🌱 Link is in our bio. _________________________________________ #lovewithoutboundaries❤️ #everychildcounts #everychilddeservesafamily #gettooattached #thisisfostercare #lwbindia #india
The “Give Warmth” blanket photos keep rolling in! 🥰 Thanks to your generosity, more blankets were distributed. This round was in rural Masaka. 🌍 It looks like the kids are quite pleased! ________________________________________ #lovewithoutboundaries❤️ #everychildcounts #lwbuganda #uganda
There’s nothing like watching a child splashing in water on a sunny day, is there? 💦 🌞 But when that water comes from a new well in an impoverished village without access to clean water, it’s something altogether different. 💦 Our Cambodian director said children in Leap Village ran up to him all excited because they could finally wash their clothes and bodies. 💦🧼 Another well will soon go in in Vithu Village too! Thanks for this gift that impacts a whole village, donors. 💦 Happy faces for a happy Friday, LWB community. ❤️ _________________________________________ #lovewithoutboundaries❤️ #everychildcounts #lwbcambodia #cambodia #cleanwaterforall
We are SO close to meeting our BIG goal! We hope to fund a new school in Vithu, which is a remote, impoverished village in Cambodia. Children in this village have either never been to school or haven’t attended in years. Many of the parents are migrant workers, so kids are left alone for long periods of time. When we met the people of this village while doing an emergency food distribution, it was clear that helping build a school was essential. We hope to open in March! Click the link in our bio to see how close we are! ___________________________________________ #lovewithoutboundaries❤️ #everychildcounts #lwbcambodia #dreambig #thepoweroflove
