Flashback Friday fun fact. Our #menlopark store has had their share of celebrities over the years (could have something to do with the Grateful Dead, but that’s another story...) From local tech tycoons to Hollywood royalty, its been quite an adventure. A few years back, former VP Joe Biden and his wife Jill strolled through the store. Did they buy a sofa? Get to know us and meet Karsten. Karsten is the president of Harvest. While this is a lofty title, most days you will find Karsten at one of the stores - sleeves rolled up, ready to assist customers and address the many daily tasks of retail. One upon a time, Karsten left his native Germany as a young adult to attend college in San Francisco on a one-year scholarship. Three degrees and many years later, it is probably safe to say that he has turned native. Karsten enjoys the suburban lifestyle with his wife Carolyn (his biggest fan and author of this post) and their kids Christa and John. Outside of work, Karsten is passionate about family travel and taking hikes with his favorite poodle, Freida. 
A few years ago we bought this vintage mercantile table in Round Top, Texas. We thought it would a great addition to our Redwood City showroom. It sold quicker than anticipated, and we were both happy and sad to see it go. Last week, it showed up on Instagram and we were sooooo excited to see it! A local design studio transformed it into a crafting table for their client and it looks absolutely amazing. Job well done, for sure. Thank you @interiorsol2 🖤🖤🖤
