Wishing I was spending the day capturing these two today. It’s the most gorgeous late spring day and would have been absolutely perfect for a wedding! ⠀ ⠀ But, even in the face of adversity and stress, Rossely and Allen found a major silver lining. Their new wedding date in August is the anniversary of the day they met! 😍⠀ ⠀ I love that even though life threw them a curveball, they found a great way to embrace the change and find joy in their new date!
I AM OVER THE MOON EXCITED TO SHARE THESE PHOTOS! 😍⠀ ⠀ Ally and Austin have always been special to me since I met them, but one of the things that has brought us closer together in life is our mutual struggles with infertility. ⠀ ⠀ Infertility is lonely, isolating, and HARD. But having someone to go through it with who understands makes it just a little bit easier! ⠀ ⠀ Ally has been an amazing supporter for me during my own struggles and I’m SO EXCITED to be able to continue to support her while she takes this new, long awaited journey! ⠀ ⠀ Baby Colton coming January 2021! 🙌🏼
Yesterday I finallllllly got to go back to work and photograph people! (Was honestly a bit worried I’d forgotten how but it came back to me. 😂)⠀ ⠀ I had such a great time hanging out with Emma and Matt! I can’t wait for their October wedding! 😍
✨ Wedding Tip Wednesday ✨⠀ ⠀ Best place to get videographer referrals? Your photographer!! (And vice versa, videographers recommending photographers!) ⠀ ⠀ There’s an unspoken territorial issue between videographers and photographers on wedding days. (We don’t like to admit this, but it’s true!) We’re both trying to get the best shots possible for our client, and sometimes that’s tricky when there are two different vendors vying for the same angles. 😬⠀ ⠀ Now there are two ways this situation can be approached. We can work together to make sure everyone gets what they need and the client gets the best possible product from BOTH vendors, or we can compete with each other and no one wins. ⠀ ⠀ When my couples ask me for video recommendations, it is such a relief because then I know long before the wedding day that there will be no struggle. There will be no fighting for my space, and there will be ample opportunity for myself AND the videographers to produce the best work possible! It also frankly makes a wedding day extra fun!! 💃🏽⠀ ⠀ Shout out to the videographers who I love working with the most: @abidoodleproductionsvideo @josh_goodman_productions and @billfosterfilmsllc If you ask me for recommendations, these three are top of the list every time! 😍
This dress shot is brought to you by my must have wedding day tool: the step ladder. 🤣
We opened the pool this weekend and it’s got me SO READY FOR SUMMER! 😎⠀ ⠀ I’m ready for grilling out, lazy days reading a book in the pool, and relaxing in the sun. ⠀ ⠀ What’s your favorite summer time activity? ☀️
MAY 22ND YA’LL! We are officially moving to YELLOW and we’re allowed to operate for small outdoor portrait sessions again! ⠀ ⠀ This is couples, family under 10, maternity, seniors, etc!⠀ ⠀ I’m still missing weddings something fierce, but I’m excited about the small steps into getting back to a new normal. ⠀ ⠀ Looking for a portrait session? YA GIRL IS READY TO GOOOOOO! Get in touch! 😍
✨ Wedding Tip Wednesday ✨⠀ ⠀ INCLUDE YOUR ANIMALS IN YOUR WEDDING! 🐕🦺 ⠀ ⠀ You include all the most important people in your life on your wedding day, you can’t forget your most important animals!⠀ ⠀ If your venue allows animals, there are so many ways to incorporate your pets. These two cuties were the flower girl and ring bearers, and I think we can all agree they crushed it. 🙌🏼⠀ ⠀ If you’re worried about who will take care of them while you’re busy doing your thing and getting married, y’all there are services for this! (Check out @fureveralways you won’t regret it!) ⠀ ⠀ Even if your venue doesn’t allow animals, you can still find ways to make them a part of your big day. One of my favorites I’ve seen is a bride put her kitties faces on her cocktail napkins! ⠀ ⠀ Pets are companions, friends, and important to us, so it just makes sense to find ways to incorporate them on your wedding day!
This photo accurately describes how we’re feeling about our feature on @marrylandweddings today! 🥰 Link in Bio!
When it’s May 4th, you can’t NOT post Star Wars content. 🤷🏻♀️ Who else is hype that Rise of Skywalker is on Disney+ today?! #maythe4thbewithyou ⠀ ⠀ Also, HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY to Karla and Andrew!! 😍
Oh man guys today’s weather is AMAZING! 😍 Sunshine and warmth was so needed today after all this rain!
I’m flipping the switch for #fridayintroductions this week, I wanna hear about YOU! ⠀ ⠀ 👇🏼 Tell me one fun/random/interesting fact about yourself, and I’ll share one back!
So, there’s an elephant in the room right now and it’s awkward to talk about, but needs to be discussed... That elephant is 2021 weddings. Y’all, if you’re planning a wedding in 2021 you gotta get proactive with booking your vendors! So many 2020 weddings are being postponed to 2021 and a lot of prime dates are being snatched up quickly. If you have a vendor in mind that you love, and want to be a part of your wedding day DON’T WAIT TO BOOK THEM! 👏🏼 You’re probably seeing this type of post a lot from wedding vendors right now. We don’t want to put pressure you, but we also want you to be aware of the realities. So, now that we covered the not so fun stuff, let’s talk about this throwback from one of my favorite 2017 weddings! 😍
✨ Wedding Tip Wednesday! ✨⠀ ⠀ Less is more when it comes to centerpieces on your tables! ⠀ Don’t get me wrong, I loooove the look of a bold centerpiece! BUT, it makes it really difficult for your guests to socialize. ⠀ ⠀ If you want your guests to enjoy each other’s company during dinner, opt for something that’s not taller than eye level when sitting!
Forever obsessed with a good colorful bouquet. 😍
