Sometimes you need to unplug and reconnect with yourself and the outdoors. I always find having a little digital detox so re-energising, even if it’s just for 30 minutes. We are more connected than ever because of technology which is incredible, especially right now, but a lot of consumption and notifications from emails, social media, TV etc can sometimes start to feel a little noisy. My ultimate reset for anything has always been to unplug and get out in nature, it fixes everything, doesn’t it!? 😂 The past fortnight, I’ve also stopped using my phone for the first and last hours of the day (imperfectly but improving) the impact that has on you starting the day on the right foot, and winding down for the night is amazing! I’ve been using that time to reset, often in different ways - sometimes I move my body or stretch, cook a warm breakfast with some tunes, read, get outdoors or set aside time for a more intentional skincare regime, now we’ve gone into Winter. I find it so calming. I’ve introduced @crabtreeandevelyn’s new exfoliating tonic to my regime to help my skin feel brighter and well-hydrated in the Winter months. I love AHAs and BHAs, and have always preferred them to physical exfoliators on my face. Apple fruit water makes this one lovely and gentle. What are some things you like to do when you want to regain balance or have a Digital detox? Ad #CrabtreeandEvelyn #borncuriousgrownwild

When I first photographed and edited this cute face two years ago, I was just starting to get to grips with editing... We’d get in from a day of rad adventures in Iceland, probably smash some super noodles, shower, then sit at a table together to import the days images, make selects and edit. I remember peeking over my MacBook at what @tomkahler, @jack_anstey and @elliotjsimpson were doing, while low-key hiding my own screen because I was worried I was doing it wrong 😂 I’ve lost the original RAW, which is what prompted me to reflect. That trip was a lot of firsts for me, actually... It’s cool looking back and seeing how you’ve progressed, or the journey you’ve made in anyyyyy area of life, every now and then. You know like that quote “Remember that once you dreamed of being where you are now...” Sometimes we can be burried in the thick of our to-dos, crushing goals, or the occasional imposters syndrome that comes with developing our dream life, that we forgot to come up for air to see how far we’ve actually come! ⚡️ Share with me one dream you had when you started that has come to be reality! Let’s celebrate some wins today!! 🙌🏼 (I’ve managed to write an essay. 😂 I only had “I felt like posting a face that wasn’t mine,” in my head when I first started typing 😅)

I feel like it‘s time for reintroductions! I love connecting with you here. Since we can’t go grab a G&T together, let’s hang below! Tell me about you! Who are you? What are you passionate about? Favourite music, drink or places ... what’s one of your goals? Where are you from? I dunno, whateverrrr you feel pulled to share, I‘d love hear a bit about you! 🤙🏼 I’ll get us started ☺️ I’m Rachel, friends call me RB ✌🏼I’m originally from a tiny village in England, but as you can probably tell... I’m quite adventurous. I think I’m pretty laid back, and I’m friendlier than I look in my photos 😂 Tea, gin and banana pancakes are some of my favourite things, and I’m passionate about empowering others and being outdoors. ⚡️ I love being creative, but I suck with numbers. One of my goals this year is to read 8 books, and if I had to pick one music genre, forever, it would be indie-rock. You? 🤔 Your turn!! Whether you’re new to the team or you’re a familiar face, pop up! 👋🏼 I’m stoked to have you here and I’m really looking forward to getting to know you 😁🤙🏼🖤

Watching the warm sun rise and the sand start to glisten on the silent sand dunes of Death Valley was one the wildest things I’ve experienced. ✨ How have you spent this weekend team? Would love to hear. I’ve had a cosy editing day today, with Ben Howard playing in the background and many cups of tea. Doing something creative and chilled, reflecting on times in beautiful places felt like a Sunday in lockdown well spent today. 😌 In shot @wildbonde 🕺🏼

Happy New Year Legends! Thank you for being such an incredible, kind and uplifting bunch - I’ve loved our conversations this year and I’m looking forward to another year of connecting with you. In 2021 may we continue: - Finding joy and gratitude in the simple things. - Creating: create art, memories, connections and a life you love. ✨ - Exploring: the world around us, and within. - Making waves. 🌊 - Connecting more with those around us - building community and depth. - Being curious: continue to learn and ask questions. - To honour the importance of taking time to care for ourselves, as well as others (you can’t pour from an empty cup). - Acting with more kindness, love and grace (towards others and ourselves). - Growing. 🌱 I’d love to hear one (or both) of the following: ✨ Something you’re looking forward to this year? ✨ Your biggest goal for 2021? Big love team 🖤 I wish you a year ahead filled with happiness, health, beautiful moments and plenty of adventures! You’re a vibe! 🤙🏼

You can’t top the roar of a tumbling gigantic waterfall to remind you of how wild this life is, and how small you are, in the grand scheme of things! A tiny but mighty part of a vast and incredible eco system, that we are SOOO lucky to enjoy, and are responsible for protecting. Abiqua is one of my favourite waterfalls to date, because the journey to this beauty was so much fun! Scrambling, scaling, and rock hopping along the river... even a rescue mission to save the camper-van from sticky mud was thrown in for good measure. A flipping good day out w/ @wildbonde! 🤙🏼 What’s been one of your favourite mini-adventures, or waterfalls!? 💦

Simplicity ✨ Life’s about the simple things you sometimes forget to soak up, too... like the perfect cup of tea, your best pals laugh, the sun shining warm, your favourite lunch, or music, glowy full moons... so many things. What’s one simple thing you stopped to appreciate today? 👇🏼 Mine was how stunning the raindrops landing in a lake were, while I was out today, and the sound of them hitting leaves. Oh, and how flipping good a hot shower felt after running in cold rain. 🙏🏼 Your turn 😌 Mornings at sunrise in Bali w/ @eyesofanomad, edit by 🙋🏼♀️ I didn’t feel like lifting the blacks this time, I dunno, I kinda like the simple silhouette vibe.

Saying the word ‘badass’ while next to a bike feels a bit corny but I wanted to remind you, to remind yourself that you are one! The way you speak to yourself matters, and positive affirmations are powerful. So repeat after me 🎤 I can achieve big things. I am fearless in the pursuit of my happiness, dreams and success. I am capable of overcoming. I am abundant. I am beautiful. I am enough and I am worthy! Who’s here for this mantra? ✨ From others words and actions, and my own thoughts, there was a time I wouldn’t have been able to say that! And you know what? I question at least one of those a day, still. But it’s important to remember that YOU are the only one who gets to decide your worth! 4 or 5 years ago I decided I’d had enough of the sh*tty things I’d internalised that kept me small, made me self doubt, question my dreams and put me at war with my own body. I stepped away from toxic relationships and started working on myself. I developed new habits to ignite transformation, and one of the most impactful was repeating positive affirmations to myself. Like the ones above. ⚡️ So, if you made it to the bottom of my essay, FINISH THIS SENTENCE BELOW: “I AM _________” 🖤👇🏼 I’ll start us off - I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to. What do you need to remind yourself of today? 📸 by my broski @eyesofanomad

What kind of explorer would you say you are? A backpacker, stay-cationist, jet-setter or dreamer? ✨ My friends love to banter about my ‘hippy-dippy side’… I’m an optimist, I love setting intentions, chatting about the LOA, and definitely had a whole eat-pray-love experience in Bali when I first started travelling 😂 So it’s no surprise that I came up as ‘The Dreamer’ Persona in @crabtreeandevelyn’s explorer personality quiz. They are making finding Christmas gifts for your favourite people so fun and easy, with beautifully curated boxes filled with lovely products that perfectly fit into the person’s lifestyle. Mine had herbal tea in it, and an overnight mask, perfect for unwinding as we leave this, well, pretty hectic year! 😅 They also come with a quirky tarot card, which reveals an extra gift to redeem online too. Take the fun little quiz on their site to find out your explorer persona, or your friend’s and family’s to find the perfect little gift for them ☺️ Let me know what you are if you do it! 🐒 (I’ll pop a link in my stories). Dreamer-RB mode activated, I’m going to meditate tonight after a busy week, and journal some good vibes I want to roll out the last bit of the year with, over a cup of that Tea! Any fellow-journalers here? #BornCuriousGrownWild [ad] Shot by @chrisharrisuk edit by 🤚🏼

Moments of calm under the waves of the Ionian Sea this Summer. 🌊 It’s crazy how this feels so long ago, as we approach Winter here. One of my favourite things about dipping beneath the surface of the water is the quiet. Waves can be rolling above and all you can hear is your heart beat and the sound of bubbles - peaceful and present. Something we should all make time for. How do you find your inner calm? For me it’s being outdoors, listening to music, meditating, creativity and spending time with special the people in my world. Something I’ve also been trying to get better at and practice is breathwork... would love to improve on this for the next time I can dive into the ocean 😍 Shot by @elliotjsimpson on a little group stint to the Greek islands earlier this year. What I’d give to be back in a warm ocean right now 👀
