    A Colorful Tradition!

Spring has sprung and our second-grade students celebrated with our traditional May Pole Assembly this morning. Under the direction of physical education teachers Mark McEachern and Brendan Moran, the students learned and performed a variety of line dances followed by the beautiful wrapping of the May Pole (100 wraps this year!) for classmates and family. The May Pole Assembly has been a long-standing tradition under the pines for over 50 years, dating back to the early 1970s!

Ernie the Hornet is dancing with joy to hear that we far exceeded our goal of 103 donors during his birthday celebrations yesterday!

Thank you to our school community for supporting our students and the overall Hamden Hall Experience for years to come.

It’s not too late to make a gift!

    "Then and Now":
Hamden Hall's Science Department has always been cutting edge and innovative, so it was only natural for our program to continue to grow and develop into what we have today. Established in 2012, our exclusive Science, Innovation & Design Signature Program enables inquisitive, independent Upper School learners to pursue and study research topics of their own choosing. During the Fall of 2022, the program expanded to our Middle School as well.

We are proud of this Signature Program under the pines and are grateful for the educators and students who continue to push boundaries and
work hard on projects that are meaningful to them.

Ernie the Hornet Giving Day Giving Update:
We have reached our initial goal of 103 Donors, but let's keep it going! Can we DOUBLE that goal to 206? We think we can!

    "Then and Now":
Transportation sure has changed over the years! During Ernie's time under the pines, he used "Nimby" (his Jeep) to transport students on and off campus. Today we have an extensive transportation system that students utilize throughout the day. Buses and shuttles head back and forth to our Beckerman Athletic Complex and away games for our sporting Hornets. We also travel throughout Connecticut to safely pick up and drop off our students each day. We are grateful for John Fabrizio and his transportation team for all of their hard work!

Please consider a gift of any size that is meaningful to you and your Hamden Hall experience: https://www.hamdenhall.org/giving/give-today
