5 ski resorts, 4 weeks, 3 states, 2 countries. 1 happy biiiiish ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I just posted a quick photo recap over on my blog, and listed all the places and resorts that I went to. Plus I posted more photos from Lake Louise! You know that pristine turquoise lake you always see on Insta in the Banff, Canada tags? Yea, we walked ON that lake, talk about surreal! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Banff was a bucket list location for me, and I can not wait to go back one day in the summertime! What's on your bucket list?
Every year I get something different constantly requested, and this year it's.... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *drumroll even though the photo gives it away...* ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Waterfalls! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Surprisingly, waterfalls on Oahu aren't always easy to get to. But if you are up for an adventure, I know some relatively easy and secluded ones we can go to :) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Would you rather say I do at the beach or a waterfall?
How to keep a regular work routine while traveling - some tips from my last month on the road ✈︎ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Continue getting up at the same time every day. I love getting up early, I typically naturally wake up at 6, but my alarm is always set for no later than 7, just in case. I do the same thing when I'm traveling (minus a few days when I make myself sleep in) and I continue to do the same tasks that I would if I were home. So have breakfast, answer emails, post to Insta, and any task that needs to be done before I adventure. - Make sure your Airbnb has Wi-Fi. Fun fact: they don't all. You can make Wi-Fi a filter on your search. - Take some favorite non-work things with you. For me, I brought literally all my hair and skin routine essentials. Yes this made my bag 5+ lbs heavier, but it also let me keep up one of my favorite personal routines, so I kept up my work ones! - Bring along a day bag so you can check out different coffee shops while you work, then you still get to explore while working! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Where are all of my travelers at? What's your fav travel/work tips?
How do you prep and pack your clothes for a hiking elopement?? I've got some tips for you! ⤵ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - At most locations, you won't be hiking in your dress and suit. Wear workout clothes and sneakers or hiking boots, depending on the hike. You can change at the top. - Roll your clothes when packing to avoid wrinkles. Bonus tip, roll them vertically when possible to avoid horizontal wrinkles. - Put your bouquet upright in the bag, and zip up on each side with the flowers sticking out at the top. - Make sure you pack water, a towel, and make-up for touch ups! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you planning an adventure elopement? Were these tips helpful? What else would you like to know? I'd love to help! ❤
What's your favorite island in Hawaii? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I literally can't choose. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love Oahu for living, because we have the most things. And because I think the north shore is the most beautiful place I've ever been and I get to call it home! I love Maui for being boujee and exploring. The Road to Hana will always amaze me. I love Big Island for all the different climates and wiiiiide open spaces. I love Kauai for hiking, and for the food. I've never had a bad meal there! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you live in Hawaii or have traveled the islands, what's your favorite and why? If you've never been, what would be your first choice?
Officially in my 30s as of Sunday 🎉 I spent my 20s traveling and building a business, so I thought I'd share some advice for the younger folks out there! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - If you want to travel, don't wait for anyone to go with you. Buy the ticket and go. You will meet people and make friends along the way! - Get out of your comfort zone NOW. I started my 20s literally scared to make eye contact with strangers. Now I run multiple businesses where connecting with strangers is KEY. I got better with experience. - Go to therapy. Everyone needs it. - Stop telling yourself you don't need money cause ya do. It's literally what runs the world. Money is freedom, and it's okay to chase it. - Speaking of, hustle HARD so you can set yourself up for your dream life. - Let go of people who are hurting you or holding you back. - Stop caring about what people think about you. They aren't paying your bills. They aren't living life in your shoes. Do you, and you will attract the right people. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨✨
Megan and Gary are troopers. We were up wellll before the sun for this sunrise shoot. We crawled up the side of a muddy cliff to get THE shot for their epic adventure sesh. This is possibly one of my favorite images ever from this location, 100% worth it. The wind was working against us that day but when it worked for us, it was pure magic ✨
How I really know Efrain is the one: I don't want to travel solo anymore. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ WHOA. If you know me, you know that's huge. I have been to at least a dozen countries solo, and have enjoyed those experiences just as much as I would have if I had brought along one of my travel buddies. I'm really downplaying how much I loved to travel solo as to not offend any of said travel buddies 😂 but it honestly was my preferred way of traveling for years. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And then I met Efrain. My most compatible travel buddy to this day, and I'm not just saying that because he carries all my bags for me. Every day in Banff was like a dream... even the day I slipped on ice while getting out of the truck and he found me on my ass with only one slipper on 😂Now I start some of the solo travel plans for this trip, and I feel lost. For the first time everrrr in my life, I started looking at flights to go home earlier than planned. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Not that it's even a question at this point, but that my friends is how I REALLY know that I found a keeper.
