This recipe is in honor of our Grand Canyon Adventure Retreat đ” and all adventures out there. Combining orange, banana, and pineapple with ingredients like cauliflower and carrots - this recipe will fuel your body and satisfy your tastebuds wherever you venture.â â LILâ ADVENTURER SMOOTHIE BOWLâ 1/4 cup carrots (raw)â 1/4 cup cauliflower florets (frozen)â 1 large orange (peeled)â 1 large banana (frozen)â 1/2 cup pineapple (frozen)â â SUGGESTED TOPPINGSâ blueberriesâ strawberriesâ kiwiâ â INSTRUCTIONSâ 1. Blend carrots, cauliflower, orange, banana and pineapple all ingredients together. You may need to use a tamper, if itâs hard to blend on itâs own. (You do want this to be thicker than a smoothie, since itâs a smoothie bowl.)â â 2. Pour blended ingredients into a bowl and top with your fav fresh fruits. Snacking can do one of a few things â nourish and fuel your body between meals, or fill it with empty calories and leave you feeling hungry shortly afterwards. Naturally, weâre fans of snacking on real food that is highly nourishing and satisfying. One of our very favorite snacks is this Warrior Bar recipe, loaded with plant-based proteins.â â WARRIOR BARS / serves 8â 2 tablespoons chia seeds (+ 6 tbs water)â 1 cup almond mealâ 1/2 cup coconut flakesâ 1 cup gluten-free rolled oatsâ 1/2 cup dried fruitâ 2 cups mashed banana (super ripe)â 1/3 cup pepitasâ 1/3 cup sunflower seedsâ 1/3 cup sliced almondsâ 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (or 1/2 vanilla bean, scraped)â Pinch of ground cinnamonâ Pinch of sea saltâ â 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).â 2. Grease or line 8 inch square baking dish with parchment (baking) paper.â 3. Soak chia seeds in 6 tablespoons of water for 5 minutes.â 4. Combine the chia seeds and remaining ingredients in a bowl.â 5. Press the mixture into the prepared baking sheet.â 6. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until golden on top.â 7.Remove from oven and let cool.â 8. Slice into 8 bars.â 9.
