Sharing a very special birthday card today - one that has been a labour of love over close to 24 hours now, with valuable input from my very clever sis-in-law, and my mumma bear @stampin_janemarshall ❤️ Happy to say that the end result is exactly as I'd hoped it would be! 🙌 It is my uncle's 80th birthday, and we'll be celebrating him later today with a gathering of family. It has to be said that I absolutely refuse to believe that he IS 80, considering that he is one of the most sprightly, light-on-his-feet gentleman I know. And he still works in his Blue Mountains business - a hint to which is give in the card... Any guesses as to his (very clever and creative) line of work...? This is one of those times that I'm very pleased to have held on to retired product - the large die from the Doily Builder Thinlits provided the exact look that I needed, albeit with multiple goes through the Stampin' Emboss Machine in multiple colours and with MULTITUDES of coloured confetti resulting! 🎉 It's also safe to say that the Take Your Pick multipurpose tool was the hero of the day when it came time to place all the fiddly bits in their corresponding holes... 😁 I'm off to find the vacuum cleaner.
