• B I G A N N O U N C E M E N T : I thought about sharing a more serious photo for the announcement, but this photo was just so much more fitting!! I’m S O E X C I T E D to finally announce that I am now a part owner of @disciple.designs! Andrea and I are officially business partners and we have so many ideas planned for Disciple Designs! Andrea and I first met back in Aggieland (Whoop!), but didn’t become friends until we moved to the DFW area. We connected over our love for Christ, game nights, and now our shared business. For those of you that don’t know, Disciple Designs is an online Christian boutique! Our mission is to encourage others in their Christian walks ❤️ It’s been so hard to keep this a secret the past several weeks, but now that we’re officially partners I can’t wait to share all that we’ve been planning! I’ll still be running Tara Barnes Photography, but since Disciple Designs is now a big part of my life, I’ll occasionally share updates here. I would absolutely LOVE for you to help us spread the news about Disciple Designs! To get the word out we are running a giveaway over on the @disciple.designs instagram page!   • It’s not often you see a newborn shoot around here, but the Matthews family was just too cute not to blog and this newborn session completely stole my heart! From Daniel playing the guitar for his baby girl to the cute llama themed nursery to Riggs, their sweet pup hamming it up towards the end of their session 😍 Samantha and Daniel were one of my first couples when I began capturing weddings and it’s hard to describe the joy I felt meeting their sweet little one years later! Ashley and Tyler both live in Colorado so Ashley actually planned her Texas wedding from afar. Every detail was so well thought out and absolutely beautiful, I'm impressed that Ashley was able to plan such a big event from a different state. Ashley and Tyler are high school sweethearts! They first met when they worked together at one of the first Charming Charlies in the Dallas area. Although Tyler eventually quit working at Charming Charlies, they kept in touch, and the rest is history!
