Message Rewind with Pastor Link - Ressurection power means we have gone from condemnation to freedom. Jesus didn't come to condemn the world, but to save it (John 3:17), and with this we know that there is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1). Believe that you can live a life of no shame and condemnation because Jesus said it.

A dear friend of ours has had cancer reoccur. Would you mind praying for supernatural healing in Jesus name? The promise of Psalm 91 is powerful, look what the Bible says: “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.” Alexandra and I have prayed for supernatural healing in Jesus name. Would you pray for this dear friend? Also add in the comments someone you’d like for us to pray for as well. #miami #arisemiami #southbeach #saltlife #jesus #prayer #supernaturalhealing #love #hope #prayerpower
Jesus told a parable for those who were confident in their own righteousness. Now, clearly this parable is extreme. It pits a pharisees vs. a tax collector. Jesus uses this paradox to show both of them at the temple. One walks away still guilty while the other walks away “Justified” or declared legally NOT guilty. What made the difference and what role does pride and self-justification have to do with all of it? Well, read the story for yourself. “To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Pretty dramatic huh?! Well before you walk away from this story thinking you’re always like the tax collector and never like the pharisee…ask yourself some tougher questions. Do you hold resentment in your heart? Do you keep anger towards others who have hurt and harmed you? What about the perfect justifications you have for keeping that grudge you have. Think through this a bit…Pride does not need God, does not need others, the prideful believe there is only one way – my way. Pride is not kind or considerate, or understanding, pride keeps us locked in the prison of self-justification. I remember the old phrase by Dr. Phil – Do you want to be married or do you want to be right? Because you can’t have both? Guess what? Do you want to live in an interdependent relationship with other sinners as we live out being the church or do you want to be right? Cause you can’t have both. Isn’t it time for to bring the pain of unforgivness to Jesus for healing? #miami #arisemiami #hope #miamibeach
Whats the Word with Pastor Link - Comparison kills, but we are all blessed to be uniquely made by God. We don't need to compare oursevles to others.
Message Rewind with Pastor Link - Jesus is for losers because all who come to Him will be forgiven. YOU will be turned away from the forgiveness and restoration He offers. The sins of YOUR youth, the sins that keep YOU up late at night, those sins don't define YOU. The new creation YOU are in Christ is what defines YOU. With joy YOU will be able to say, "There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
Many people are confused about the nature of faith. Some think it is something akin to the ‘force’ in Star Wars. Some impersonal belief in belief. Almost as if your sincerity is what makes things true and if you can only muster up enough sincere conviction then you will be at peace. This is NOT biblical faith. The faith described in the Bible is simple. Believing that what God has said in His word is true….thats it. Nothing more nothing less. Do you remember what the serpent asked Eve in the garden? “Has God really said…” Here you see the strategy the enemy used against our first mother. He invited her to doubt that what God had said was true, and then offered an ‘alternative’ truth to what God had said. Today I invite you to exercise faith. Believe! Trust! Accept! That what God has said in His word is ACTUALLY true! So listen to what he says in Isaiah 43:1-2 “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” What a powerful promise of protection and deliverance. Are you going to believe God or will you listen to the serpent? All your fears, self-doubt, anxieties, and concerns are evidence that you are disbelieving God. From time to time I begin to lose my faith, to distrust God, and I need to remember…come back to His word, read it, proclaim it out loud, cry out to God, call a friend to support and encourage me to remember… Remember that it’s all true!!! All of God’s promises are true. Trust Jesus. He loves you. He died for you. He’s coming soon to rescue you from this planet in decline. Have peace in Him today. #miami #arisemiami #saltlife #southbeach #miamibeach #coconutgrove #jesus #hope #mercy #discipleship #love #truelove
Some of the most destructive voices we hear in our heads are the voices of our dysfunctional family of origin. Whether it be a mother, a father, sibling or uncle. Over time these voices become our own and we can in fact become our own worst enemy. David faced many obstacles on his way to becoming king. This weeks message, “Where others see a shepherd, God sees a King,” explores the power of knowing who you are in Christ. What if what is keeping you from having the relationship with Jesus you have been yearning for so long is the negative and false beliefs that you are not worthy? Some people struggle with pride, others struggle with low-self esteem, and some are so bad in their own minds they are certain God doesn’t want them. The prideful person says — I don’t need God, the opposite side of the coin is I’m too bad for God. Neither is correct. Today you need to understand that even as you may have come from a broken family, or in the eyes of the world you are not from the ‘right’ family, or you have physical characteristics the world says is not good enough — you are a Son of the King of the Universe — You are a Daughter of the King. Today, I urge you to keep moving forward on the trust that God has a blessed future for you! The best days are yet ahead! God has not brought you this far to let you go! On the contrary — He’s just getting started. This David is the one who penned the beautiful words of Psalm 23, the ancestor of the Messiah himself. ”The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. #miami #arisemiami #saltlife #southbeach #miamibeach #yes #hope #love #peace #Jesus #discipleship #gospel #joy
